Submitting Stories - Straight From Laurel

Okay, as there has been some question about the submission process I contacted Laurel and have been told the hard fact.

If you submit a story, go back and make changes and submit it again, the story goes to the end of the line when it is resubmitted. This goes against what a writer I edited for shared with me, so it's good that we have this clarified by the one person who "really" knows.

Thanks to the person who asked, now we know for sure.

Thanks for asking. I had a feeling this was how it worked, but definitely good to know from the source.

Thanks for the information, AS. That's how I understood the system worked, but knowing is better than assuming.

Just thought that since there was some question about it, better to get it clarified by the one authority who would know unequivocally.

Thanks, I've wondered about this as well as I've had the need to make edits a few times before a story got approved.

And I figured this would be the case because when you edit it, you can also change the story title and what not, and it could be something completely different all together.
