I see your point. The Fetish category doesn't get too much traffic. It wouldn't be worth the effort.

I'd just like a little point and shoot digital camera. I had a really nice Canon Dimage for a couple of years, but it died. That did video as well, of course, but the Aluratek is a bit better for that, I think. Don't need changeable lenses and I have to confess I'm not sure what SLR is although I've seen the abbreviation before. But people want pics of the kids and it's much easier to use a camera with a flash.

Canon or Minolta? I have an old Minolta 35mm SLR. Loved it, but finally upgraded to digital and have become a fan of Kodak. Lot of bang for your buck, for the kind of shots you're talking about.
Is Seven Years After a joint venture between SA PennLady and LettersFrom Tatyana? OMG!! And I had the nerve to quibble this? The Wrath of the Goddesses will descend upon me heavily.

As for point-and-shoot digital cameras, there are any number of decent ones under $100. If you are of an artistic bent, you probably should be spending substantially more and going the SLR route.
lol, no. But PL has endless patience with me when she reads and comments.
I'm about halfway through Ch 14. Now I'm tired and should be going to bed instead of playing around here.
I found Honeycrisp apples at the store today. Yay!
And GQ's right, around $100 can get you a quality digital camera. High resolution. Panoramic. Decent zoom. Flash. Image stabilization (I think). I've also had a little Sony, btw. Great pics.
Got Herself a Sony digital 14 megapixel for around $125. She loves it, takes it everywhere, and the 10 meg Canon SLR gathers dust on a shelf. She's a true shutterbug, so it was worth the extra.
"But it's considerably pricier and bigger." Yep, the SLRs are much better for the serious amateur or semi-pro photographer, if they don't mind the bulk and can afford the pricetag. But the interchangeable lens jobs cost very serious dollars.
Negotiated the release of the latest chapter from my editor, made the edits, and uploaded the story. Today's mission has already been accomplished.
If I have any time this afternoon I may finish the final two scenes in the next chapter of Desperate Measures. Bonus points if I get that far.
Good for you. Are you sure that hostage taking is the best strategy for long-term story writing?![]()

She's been working with me for almost two years now, and she's very good. It's only recently that her turn around time has become problematic. Like most of us, this isn't her real job, and until I start paying her more (>$0), I have no room to complain. My only outlet is to leave snarky comments on the board.
With great snarkiness comes great responsibility.
Does responsibility lead to snarkiness?
