Slut as a lifestyle.

Oh, I figured quite frankly that lance, eyer, drown, wobnoid (sp?) and PSW are all the same person.....no?

No. They are not all the same person.

While they may all be the same sort of being..a troll, they are most assuredly not the same person.

I could go in to how I know this for sure, but I gather you'd just tell me I'm an armchair psychologist.

Communication is complex and highly interesting. You can tell a lot about a person by how they communicate, even in a text based platform such as Lit. Learning how to read people on several levels is a fairly handy skill to have.

Really? I really thought they were all the same person (all really a chick).

Come on, at least a few of 'em have to be the same.

some say I should be ashamed, yet, I am not. It's empowering to embrace my inner slut.

Being single truly helps.

I have - at the moment - several on the line - chicks included.

Only on Lit could I do this.

2 sugar daddies, (one is on his way out cause he's grumpy!) One that satisfies my slutty BDSM needs, One that wants to rescue me, a lovely chick who's too damn young for me but keeps hitting on me, one that is purely vanilla, but wants to be the BOYFRIEND (not)...

If only I could bottle this, I'd be a rich woman.

This reminds me of the joke "What is the difference between a bitch and slut?"

The answer : " A slut will do anyone, a bitch will do anyone but you."

Do you call them trolls because they do not think like you? Because they have different political views points so they are automatically a troll?

I have been BBS's and forums since the early 90's and the GB on here is one of the most hateful places I have ever run across in my lifespan so far.

"Troll" encompasses a lot of behaviours and human characteristics, I believe. Most often a troll is someone who purposely pushes buttons, who does or says things in this environment that they would normally not do in RL. Someone who likes to hurt others just for the hell of it. Someone who does not abide by the social norms that are generally involved with proper communication in any form.

I am not opposed in the slightest to people who think differently than myself. I encourage individuality, and I am highly curious and fascinated by both individual human nature as well as how people interact with others.

The GB will swallow a person up and spit out their skeleton if given half the chance. I often equate the GB with Mos Eisley (Star Wars).

4chan's /b/ board and racist sites like Stormfront are filled with some pretty scummy people, but the GB seems to have a greater influx of sleazebags rotating through it than other sites.

you think that there are worse people on here than 4chan and stormfront?

Wow...

Actually... you might be right.

That's fucked up.

but in a text-based platform, it's easy to make assumptions based on what little information is there.
And that is why this place can sometimes fall into a spew of misinformed hate/attack.
It's the nature of the beast.

There are nuances and patterns though. The written information isn't as important as in how it's communicated, even without the use of the comical emoticon. Maybe it's just me but I can often identify the users state of mind or posting style very easily...

I've obviously been here too long...

I'm not sure who Wob is but the rest mentioned are not related, in my opinion.

Interesting. I can't understand the mentality of "being mean just to be mean"...I'm not wired that way.
