There is no comparison between us and them, their system of government is different from us, or it was until Obama took over. Remember, none of them has anywhere near our population to draw from.

What has Obama done that fundamentally changes the united states????

Please be specific, and quote your sources...

kthxbi.

He signed a "be alive" tax.

You are now required to participate in the Health Care system in one form or another - even if you have absolutely no desire to do so, live as a hermit in the mountains and/or earn absolutely no money.

Should his health care law' individual mandate to purchase stand up in the courts - there will be absolutely no limit to what the government may require of the citizens - as there is nothing on the planet that cannot, in some manner be construed to affect interstate commerce.

The above is a fucking lie:

ExxonMobil is one of the largest taxpayers in the United States

Last year, our total taxes and duties to the U.S. government topped $9.8 billion, which includes an income tax expense of $1.6 billion. Over the past five years, we incurred a total U.S. tax expense of almost $59 billion, which is $18 billion more than we earned in the United States during the same period. Critics often try to ignore these facts by saying the oil and gas industry receives “subsidies.” But what they really mean is that they want to increase our taxes by taking away long-standing deductions for our industry while leaving these same deductions in place for other sectors of the economy.

How much have you paid for this personally? Please be specific.

This doesn't seem to be "ruining" things... but perhaps you can explain how it does.

Vette, what they mean is they were still paying fees and sales taxes. Their income tax, despite having the highest income of any company in the history of the world, was a net credit of $46 million.

What the financial statement says is that ExxonMobil, in 2009, after a handful of deferrals, recorded a total U.S. income tax benefit (i.e., a refund) of $46 million.

Exxon tries to limit the tax pain with the help of 20 wholly owned subsidiaries domiciled in the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands that (legally) shelter the cash flow from operations in the likes of Angola, Azerbaijan and Abu Dhabi.

"The facts of the 2008 election show that he was the favorite of Exxon, Chevron, and BP. Exxon donated $117,946 to Obama and $73,326 to McCain. Chevron pumped $77,875 into Obama's warchest and $61,313 to McCain. BP gave $71,051 to Obama but just $36,649 to McCain."

You reckon Obama has given any of that back?

How much do you reckon those three will contribute to their favorite this election?

What's your point?

Disprove it, MORON.

There's nothing to disprove. That site if verifiably accurate. It just neglects to mention that Exxon paid no federal income tax (or that it actually received $46 million in taxpayer money as a credit). They just say they paid some money in "taxes", which is correct. They simply gamed away all their federal income tax via loopholes and tricks. Apparently they couldn't game away all taxes though.

S&P Executive: It Could Take Up To 18 Years To Fix The Damage Obama Has Done To U.S. Economy…

If we don’t win in 2012 the U.S. is doomed.

(The Hill) — John Chambers, the chairman of Standard & Poor’s sovereign debt ratings, on Sunday estimated that it could take between 9 and 18 years for the nation to regain its AAA credit rating.

Chambers said the credit agency could further downgrade the national rating depending on whether President Obama and congressional leaders can agree on reducing the deficit.

Chambers said “it could take a while” for the U.S. to regain its perfect credit rating.

If only the Tea Party didn't shit on Boehner and Obama's Grand Bargain, huh?

How does that work?

How can government make you participate in the HC system as an off-the-grid hermit in the mountains with no income whatsoever if you don't participate in society to take advantage of the services that society provides?

It doesn't make sense. If you don't want to deal with paying into government and making the country you live in work for you and your fellow citizens and instead want to live under your own steam (which is your right), then when you have a heart attack, you're not going to struggle to stay alive by getting help to get to a hospital, you're going to lay down and die because God says it's your time to go and you need to make room on Earth for those who are being born and those who are lucky enough not to have heart attacks and die and those who want to pay into the HC system in order to futilely attempt cheating Death a day or a week or a year or several years longer.

Hmmmmm....

...reducing the deficit, eh?

Like the record FY 2010 deficit of $1.4 trillion?

Or the projected new record deficit for FY 2011 of $1.5-7 trillion?

Of course, with FY 2012 beginning in 50+ days, no budget passed yet, and Congress on vacation for the next 5 weeks...

...who knows what the next deficit will be.

Even with a meaningless rating agency trying to steer them...

...our blind still choose to remain lost.
