Please don't try this at home!

A Swedish man was arrested last month after authorities discovered that his effort to build a nuclear reactor in his kitchen had ended with a small meltdown.

"A meltdown on my cooker!!!" he wrote. "No, it not so dangerous. But I tried to cook Americium, Radium and Beryllium in 96% sulphuric-acid, to easier get them blended. But the whole thing exploded upp (sic) in the air..."

Much better that you write bad porn, than play with americium.

My guess is that he'd not read on that young American who tried the same thing (loss of shed, garden dug up, parents unhappy).

Jeez. You know, the last time I went shopping for americium, radium, and beryllium, my neighborhood Walmart was fresh out. They could get me the beryllium the next day, but both the man-made and the radioactive elements have been on back order for months!

Why can't people just entertain themselves by nitrating toluene, like we did back in the good ole days?

Yeah!! It was fun!!

Me and the gang used to cook up some TNT out back of the shed.
The grouchy neighbor next door complained about the smell, so we blew up his garage.

Get into the 21st century! You have to order these things online. Amazon is the way to go. That way you can find the cheapest sellers. I got my all my radioactive elements at half what they were charging at Walmart from this little, overseas country that had bought too much and needed to sell off the excess.

Better be careful. Doc got his from the Libyans, and look what they tried to do to him. Thank god Marty was able to get the reflux capacitor fixed!

1.21 gigawatts !!!

Okay, I never actually cooked up TNT, but I did make ping-pong bombs.

Bonus points to anyone know knows what that is.

Whatever happened to plain old home made Molotov cock tails? little bit of powdered detergent, little bit of gasoline....

After surviving an exciting first 25 years, I pretty much limit myself to things that won't kill me, these days.

Why couldn't he just jack off like the rest of the world?

when it blows the detergent makes the flames stick, it's like ghetto napalm. I only tried it a couple of times it worked.... sort of.

Good: Jello
Better: Detergent
Best: Styrofoam

Styrofoam melts in the gasoline making a thick gel that sticks to anything it land on, burning a lot hotter than just plain gasoline.

Really? That's it I'm going to have to try it now! Always wanted to get rid of that shed in the back yard!
