Hello, I normally write gay male stories, so it's always a bit discouraging when I DO branch out and my one straight story gets more views in the first three days then all the views on all of the chapters of one of my story threads combined... *sob*

But oh well. My new story is called The Slave Girl. It is a fairly short story, simply enough, about a man in a vaguely Arab-ish world buys a virgin slave girl and has his way with her. I meant for the story to be in 'First time' because the main character is very sweet and tender for her first time, but the all-wise and all-knowing editors shunted it into noncon/reluctance. I got very good reviews so far, and it's rated 'hot', so if others like it, maybe you will too.

For anyone who DOES read gay male stories, I currently have 6 multi-chapter stories going, ranging from 2 chapters to 12 chapters.

Poor Simon about a young boy who gets kidnapped from his home into a corporation that trains pleasure slaves, only to have a forbidden romance with his Master. Seven of the twelve chapters are rated 'hot, and the lowest rated one is 4.32

The Boy from the Sea is a story about a young man who finds a boy tangled in his nets while fishing. Later on you find out that the boy is part of a species similar to mermen, but not quite. The boy develops a relationship with the man who rescues him. This story is not finished yet, with one more chapter that I will release in a few days. 3 of the 6 chapters are 'hot' and the lowest score is 4.47

Shy Jared is a story of an older janitor who befriends and seduces a young man in a high school. It takes place in the 70's. This is a five-part story with one more chapter to be finished, three are 'hot' and the lowest score is 4.39

The New World is a story about gay werewolves. The main character is a french werewolf that stows away on a ship headed towards America to escape a cruel scientist. This takes place in the eighteenth century. It has four parts, with three or four more to go. Two are 'hot' and the lowest score is 4.42.

Tenderness is a romance about a young man who is brutally beaten and raped, and is in a relationship with a man who is trying to help him over his insecurities. Three chapters, with many left to go, all are 'hot'.

My last story is The Bottom Tier. It is about a dystopian future world and it focuses on Kip, who is a 'Ladyboy', a boy who was genetically engineered to have breasts and a penis at the same time. He was a slave, and he escapes, and it is about him finding love and a family in the slums. This one is completed, and has two parts. Both are 'hot'

Well I hope someone enjoys my stories. I have always gotten plenty of 'hot' ratings and good reviews. If you like any of these, please comment or send feedback. A bit of an attention whore here!
kisses,

Sorry, C2BK, but "man in a vaguely Arab-ish world buys a virgin slave girl and has his way with her" sounds like the epitome of non-consent/reluctance to me. So as far as I am concerned, the "all-wise and all-knowing editors" made the right choice. As a reader interloper into AH, I do not read either Gay Male or NC/R stories, they do nothing to float my boat.

I'll be interested to know how your ratings go after having noted they were mostly above hot. That's usually taken here as an invitation to 1 bombing.

And, yeah, "having your way" deflowering a slave sounds pretty much nonconsent to me.

I'm not so sure I agree with that. Most people who cruise this forum are other authors not the trolls (most trolls are anon and can't even log in here) and I think it would be pretty low for an author to one bomb another. Although I am fairly certain I have one that does it to me.

I'm just speaking from the statistics of observations over the years--both the "I'm doing well" posts and the follow-up "I probably shouldn't have led with my chin" posts. It particularly works the charm on the contest threads.

And, as Sidney notes, you don't have to log on to read the forum (or vote the stories). And I might also note that only a small proportion of those on the forum are Lit. authors. Even most regularly posting on the Author's Hangout are not Lit. authors--or haven't been for years and years and years.

You can scroll down to the botton of the forum and take a gander at the hundreds of folks logged in even. Very few of them either post to the forum or are Lit. authors.

I would think that the contest posts would be a different story. The trolling in the contests themselves seems ridiculous.

As for leading with your chin. I think a lot of people get excited when they have mostly red H's. To me they don't mean anything one way or another. Yes they are nice to have, but it's not like it's a big deal, but that's me. Many people really get into it.

I agree with the number of people surfing but I think the majority are the personals, and playground crowd. There are a lot of people here who never even read the stories.

I didn't post that they shouldn't be happy or excited even by good response.

So, you don't think folks should be warned that noting high scores on the forum often invites trolling of the stories? Interesting.

Warn away, all I'm saying is that I never considered it-as far as 'surfing' trolls go, I was just thinking from it in an 'author to author' light.

Then again I don't ever remember talking about my scores one way or another so maybe that's why I never gave it much thought.
