Back about 1905 America had 100s of genius innovators: Ford, Edison, Curtiss, Wright, Durant, et al, and Teddy Roosevelt was their President. America kicked ass.

Then in 1913 we elected the Archangel Woodrow Wilson and saddled ourselves with the 16th Amendment and income taxes. Income taxes were ONLY FOR THE RICH! Wilson also brought us Prohibition.
