Yep. The story is a thinly veiled analogy for a girl entering womanhood. Little RED riding hood yes I've encountered academic explanations in college lol. Big Bad Wolf is most definitely "men in general" and yes getting into bed had very sexual connotations. I forget who wrote it but while it wasn't "pornographic" there was an adult themed version we read (spoiler: LRRD isn't a victim of the Big Bad Wolf... ) probably closer to the orig intent/theme of the tale (French in origin was it?).
