Well, if this isn't a little bit embarrassing.

Okay so I endured a very long, very hard fingerfucking last night and found out I was bleeding afterward. S was worried (turned out there was blood all on his hand, on the towel we used to clean up, and my shirt where he'd grabbed me... it's ruined now :<); I just laughed, got turned on at the prospect, put some TP in my panties and went to sleep.

Now enter morning. I'm still bleeding, extremely sore, and a little worried. It's not menstrual blood-- I don't get periods unless I miss more than a day of pills, and the consistency isn't anything like period blood anyways.

So is this "normal"? I have no idea how long it takes for a wound in the vagina to heal, but 10+ hours seems suspect to me. I'm just curious if anyone has experienced this before and it's no big deal, or if it's something I need to shell out to see a doctor for. (Did I mention I don't have insurance right now and am also out of country until the end of the week? :D)

I figured if anyone that wasn't a medical professional would know, it would be you good people. Thanks! :s

I had this happen when I was still in my teens, almost every time my ex and I messed around. (He had watched a lot of porn and believed I wouldn't enjoy any activity unless he was banging me till the object was coming up my throat. )

Anyway, I never had bleeding last longer than a few hours. I did have a few times where it was very heavy, but still no more than a few hours. But I wasn't on any sort of birth control at the time, so I'm not sure how that effects things either.

I'd check out a doc if it were me. But I'm a little paranoid about infection.

Not sure how old you are or whatnot but is it possible he broke your hymen?

Nah, that was a while ago. Bled then too, though.

And thanks for the advice, Wenchie. I think it's finally let up now; weird. Glad it wasn't something serious... otherwise oops, there goes all my graduation money to pay for tests. :B

I'm still wondering how it happened exactly. I mean, I was getting the wind knocked out of me with every shove (which I actually liked), but all his nails are trimmed? I read about vaginal tissue getting "torn" from fingering, but I don't get how it happens. S seemed really worried about possibly having seriously damaged something in there, so I'm just wondering if blood is something he's going to have to get used to if he wants to play like that or if there are precautions to take, etc. whatever.

Yeah it was just my first thought- I figured it wasnt' that though :)

You could have gotten a tear I suppose. Maybe schedule a visit with your gyno just to be sure?

No insurance, remember? ;)

Depending on where you are, you may be able to go to the health department and have them take a look. Around here they'll do annuals and nursing visits free or reduced cost if you don't have insurance.

Planned Parenthood?

And did I see that you're in school? Student health services should be able to help you out...

It happened a lot when I was in my teens. I'm not sure why, as I hadn't told my mom I was fooling around and she really was scary back then.

Even when we got married, and used toys made for such things, if he went too deep then some times I would bleed. I'm not sure if it's just that the lining gets shuffled or if he did scratch or tear something.

I have with in the last year or so been fingered/fisted very deeply, to the point it hurt, and didn't bleed at all. So maybe it is an age thing? or possibly an amount of activity thing? Not sure.

ETA: once you're back in your home land I would look up a free clinc and be checked out. Just because you should every year when your sexually active anyway.

This happened to me a couple of times. The doctor said that it was because of rough sex. :D I had my cervix cauterized and that solved the problem. Best advice.....get to a doctor. Good luck!

Dude, this happens to me nearly every time something somewhat rough takes place. Even when you're not a "virgin" anymore, you've still got some hymen down there. It separates the vaginal opening from the anal opening. Rough play can and will tear it.

Since you're bleeding more than I do when this happens, this may or may not be what's wrong. Where is the soreness coming from? Inside your vagina somewhere or down in the area of the perineum? If it's the former, I'd be concerned. The latter, not so much.

If you're not in a bunch of pain and the bleeding is stopped, you're probably fine. He probably just was a little overly enthusiastic :p If it concerns you still, then you'd probably be best off looking for a free/cheap clinic in the area to get checked out, but it's probably unnecessary. The vagina was built to take some damage, you know :p

Figured I would suck up my bit of embarrassment in sharing and throw my two cents in since it sounds pretty similiar to what I experienced a couple years back. Although in my case it was from rough intercourse; I'm thinking the rough is the key part ;)

I too had the bleeding after, soreness and it lasted a while into the next day before it eased up. I was out of town for a long weekend and luckily have a close relative who is a nurse (that was plenty embarrassing enough thank you lol).

Anyway, came down to a couple possibilities... could either have been some tearing in the vaginal walls. Even if you are plenty.. lubricated when things get rougher the friction is sometimes more than you can keep up with so to speak.

Or it could be that he was hitting your cervix even though you would probably feel some kind of impact if this was it. That being said, when you mentioned:
I mean, I was getting the wind knocked out of me with every shove (which I actually liked)
I did kind of wonder if that might have been it. I am pretty sure that was what happened with me and I think most of us know just how high your pain threshold can get when you are turned on :D so it is easier to disregard those things in the moment.

Best pieces of advice... as long as it has stopped it is likely one of those things and give it time to heal. However, I also know when you are out of town... or the country ;) that isn't always the option you want so at least try to take it easy or yes he will have to get used to some bleeding for a bit

I was going to propose this as an explanation. The very same thing has happened to me and I bled for quite long as well. Even though the bleeding stopped, I went to see a doctor and it turned out it was my cervix that was causing the bleeding. It was bruised and bleeding and definitely sore, but it didn't amount to anything more serious. Basically the doc had a looksie and told me to go easier the next time...

But I'm glad to hear you're feeling good. :)

Thanks everyone!

So the bleeding was internal (I couldn't for the life of me tell how far), but the soreness was external. He could have nicked my cervix, actually... I remember my last pap had me spotting for the entire day. This is the first time I've actually played this rough, so it was kinda hard to figure out what was going on in there. :B But now that it's been mentioned, I think that's probably what was going on... it was much more intense than anything else I've felt, and it did hurt. Hm!

I'll be sure to let him know for future reference~ :D

Hey, I know I am late in replying, but I wanted to pop in to say that in case you didn't know pouring hydrogen peroxide directly on the bloody stains works GREAT for cleaning up. When you pour it on, it will bubble up just like it does on wounds... just let it soak a while then wash whatever it is in cold water & it should all come out. It is safe to use on all colors, and I haven't had any issues with any special fabrics... it works great on carpet too. ;)

I just hate to see a fav shirt go to waste! :D

Have you been checked recently for a cervical infection? Google "cervicitis" and see if any of the symptoms sound familiar.

Best thing for removing blood from clothing is to wash in cold water. Warm or hot water will set it in, cold water removes it. Of course wash in detergent after, but initially soak in cold and then if needed, wash in cold water and detergent by hand to remove last remnants.
