Looking for an old story

Ages ago i read a story that I think was set in old Scotland. There was mention of Clans. The female character was heading to a nunnery to avoid an arranged marriage, attacked by robbers, The male I think his name started with R. rescues..falls for her....ruins her honor.... defends her honor by marrying her. His last wife killed herself. The female is very strong and good at throwing a knife.... Mac was one of the brothers names.

I read this one, too. I think it was done by steveswoman, but when I checked her page, all of her stuff was gone for various reasons. I could be wrong, but that's my best guess. Someone else will know more, I hope.
