I noticed in a few older threads/posts there was a bit of an annual get together. Anyone know if this is still going ? cheers

There hasn't been one for a few years now. Gil used to organise one in Sydney but trying to get dates to please everyone was a nightmare.

Anyone else want to try and organise something feel free though :)

Didn't Gil do two of them?

1 at the Rocks & 3 at Ramsgate & attempted one last year that fell apart due to people pulling out *** we all know Nothing is achieved when pulling out ***

I guess we could give it a go in September or November if there is enough interest so anyone keen on this idea copy this post put your name on the list & prefered date also if you are bringing a partner.

I'm on the ferry back to the mainland, leaving Kangaroo Island :(
I have had the BEST time, and am definitely coming back.
Seriously looking to buy this block of land now - K.I. is much like Tassie, only warmer and with not as many people.

Hi all! Just sticking my head in and seeing what's what.

I'm afraid I wouldn't be attending any get together, but I hope you all have a great time if one goes ahead.

Drove all night from K.I. ferry, and have stopped in Apollo Bay, Vic.
Heading to Melbourne tomorrow to catch the overnight ferry home.
Even tho it's freezing back there, I'm looking forward to my own bed and my boys (and CadburyCat!)
The $900 station wagon has not missed a beat :D
Great car! I have christened her Lily :cattail:

These meets are not a hitfest or orgy it is only a social get together with people who are open about sex verbally a few drinks with lots of laughter.

My wife Bandit I met back in 2003 & 2006 we married.

Facebook is so depressing

Yeah, I get that at times too. I'm tired of all the happy couples posting their pregnancy updates.

Verts aside (I mean, it's not like we're on a sex forum or anything), I think the issue with the meets is that Australia is a rather big country and we're all scattered around the place, so it's always going to be tricky to get a time and place to suit people.

Well, the week has started well for me - kitchen renos are well under way! Yippee!! :)

We have had people comming from NZ, US, Tas, WA, Sa, Vic & QLD only ACT & NT.

Wild weather for the last bit of the trip. Melbourne is being hammered!
We are driving from Cape Ottway to the ferry today, to catch the ferry tonight to go back home.
I bet the ferry trip is extremely rough - it's going to be interesting, to say the least! I am eternally grateful I don't get seasick

I know what you mean, like 95% of the people I want to school with are married with kids, and when I comper that to myself I feel like the 40 Year old virgin.
