I have a couple stories where friends (two couples) become close and share not just dinner but each other. In the stories the women are bisexual and the men are straight. I’m torn as to which category to post the stories in. Loving Wife should attract more readers, but also negative feedback (right)? The group category is a better fit for couples who share, but will the story attract as many readers?

Any thoughts?

You are 100% correct that your story will get more views in the LW category than in Group sex.

As you are well aware, any time a wife has sex with someone other than her husband, the LW trolls want to burn both the wife and the author at the stake. In this case, however, that may not happen.

I accidently posted a swinging couple story in LW, in which the husband and wife both have sex with mulitple partners at a swing party. The trolls somehow missed it. It may be that the subject matter did not offend them so much. I suspect the more likely cause of its general acceptance was due to the fact that I posted it about a year and a half ago. I believe the troll population has become less tolerant since then. I have no empirical data to support that belief--only my own observations as to comments and scores. (Take a peek at the LW hub for several days to see what I mean).

Bottom line--if you want maximum views and have thick enough skin, post in LW. If you are concerned about scores or don't take comments well, then go with Group sex.

I think you're just asking for a bashing by putting it in LW. In my opinion, it's better suited to Group Sex.

The category doesn't get LW reads, of course, but it's hardly a backwater on Lit. The numbers should be solid, and without the piles of venomous drivel you often get from the segment of LW readers who are wading in the shallow end of the gene pool.

I think there's merit to the complaints from LW that swinging stories belong in group, rather than there. If there's enough concentration on what the swinging means to the marriage, then I suppose it fits. If it's just enjoying sex without any real deep meaning to the marriage, then group.
