Somalia is sadly known by FGM but the practice is receiving more and more attention from the government in way deter it. I remember reading something about a case of several young girls dying in a such a quick succession that a village was almost stripped from its nubile population. It led to public executions...

The pics posted on the opening posts of the thread may or may not be real... Its really too hard to reach the truth about it. Like most other African countries, a huge gap between social classes is in place and there is an immensely rich higher class versus an extremely pauper lower class. And the higher class as taken on a penchant for all western, with many people attending college in Europe or US. This is fertile ground for many strange things to happen... Those images can very well be the fruit of an upper-middle class couple that got hacked from a personal computer.
