Smacking the Right around in debates is getting old and tiresome. I've found that real life protests are a hell of a lot more fun. I've been to a few and wish there were more of them.
I've been nose to nose against Tea Partiers in person twice and they're a bunch of pussies when you get just as hard nosed as they are. They're only brave in large and superior numbers. Look how badly they got their asses kicked in Wisconsin when they went up against the cheeseheads! Look how they wilted when we met them during the recent Medicare townhalls - the Repigs are scared of being held to their Medicare votes.
If we had these same people in their faces during the Health Care townhalls there wouldn't have been a GOP stampede in 2010. People vote for the group that has the most balls.
Few things are more fun than taking these bastards on face to face. They can't win - not when the Left shows a pair. Get loud, get in their faces, or get steamrolled.
But the biggest thing you can do is go out and bring the message to voters. Volunteer for campaigns and get out the vote. Educate the people about the Koch brothers and ALEC. Let them know what's going on in Michigan and what the Republicans propose for Medicare. Force the Republicans to explain themselves; put them on the defensive.
There's always room for arguing, but that should be secondary to taking action!
