For anybody new here, you might somtimes see that the reply of the person who replied last is not there.

This happens when the post is the first on a new page.

For some reason the reply does not appear until when a new person makes a reply.

There is a way to see the first reply in a new page, which is by starting to reply to the thread, at that point the mystery reply can be seen, and then you can make a reply having that information at hand.

I did not bother to report this particular problem because I am sure the regulars must have seen this problem long before I did and have asked for it to be addressed.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Sometimes two or more people will be preparing a response at the same time and, after one has been posted, followed by the second, the composer of the second post will look and say "Hey, that wasn't there before!" Of course, he or she will know it's just a matter of being second or third or whatever, instead of first. It has nothing to do with being a new page.

Erase, erase.

Nevermind. I thought I'd seen the same thing, but I was looking at the wrong thread.

No this clearly happens at the end of a page, or should I say start of a new page. You only really notice it on a very long thread. For example I see it alot on the naked party thread where I am always making replies.
