I wonder where everyone is? Mz. Luna seems to have disappeared, Twin too, and TSB is around somewhere... also.. anyone know what's up with JT? Haven't seen him around lately.

I know. I haven't seen JT post for several days, and then it was a middle of the night post. I read it the next day. I think Luna is a bit frustrated with not being able to write her posts the way she wants to tonight.

Well, she told me that they talked it over and both were on good terms. I would say that maybe JT is busy with his classes, but its the time of year that they should be wrapped up I think.

We were just talking about this subject in the Outlook last night. Glad and Cait and I were talking about the preparations we've made to make sure our friends online were informed if anything ever happens to us.

In my case, I have a text file on my desktop of my computer leaving instructions on how to log in here and post a message, and also a list of people to respond to with more personal information, should they ask. The file explains who my Lit friends are, and also who's who on my Yahoo contacts list.

Yeah, I suppose so. As for me, I don't have anyone like that who is also on Lit. But I've told my r/l sister and my brother in law about the file. They know what to do, if it comes to that, even if I haven't told them exactly what relationships I have with people here. As far as they know, I just have various online friends.

I just don't like the idea of something happening to me that I couldn't let people know I was going to be away, and then people just being left to wonder what happened to me. Maybe its vain to think anyone would wonder, but at least this way they'd know.

Aggravated.....did a fresh install on this comp, so now I'm in the midst of 104 windows updates....not to mention getting Firefox back the way I want it.

Was indeed somewhere around here, though more in the void than anything else. Slowly materializing at the door, he softly pushes the door open, attempting to remain quiet and not disturb any conversation going on in the library. Still dressed in his gym clothes: a ratty t-shirt that says USMC on the front with cut off sleeves to show his his strong arms and the solid muscle like corded steel running down them, the shirt is accompanied by a casual pair of red gym pants. His Zune on an armband wrapped loosely around his left arm, his ear buds are out of his ears as he finally slips into the room, the soft soles of his running shoes making it easy to remain quiet

Aggravated.....did a fresh install on this comp, so now I'm in the midst of 104 windows updates....not to mention getting Firefox back the way I want it.

Wow, I can see why that would be aggravating. I turned off the updates on my work computer because every time it would update automatically, it would reset my automatic save options for AutoCad. There is nothing worse than losing several hours or even a full day's work because the damn thing locks up, and then find out that it never auto saved.

I never had any problems with updates when I used my Mac, but Windows updates drive me crazy!
