A celebration of monarchy isn't really my thing; wrong side of the pond, and whatnot!

However, the pictures I saw of the bride looked lovely. Very classy, sweet smile, well-framed neck, beautiful poise. Most of all, she looked genuinely happy.

The dress was a dress, not sure what to say about it except that the side-to-side image of Diana's showed this one to be a massive improvement. Good lord, who designed that giant puff-fest years ago?

Both grooms are awkward-lookin' dudes, sorry to say. They may be perfectly decent and honorable, despite being absurdly over-privileged chaps, who knows? But - damn. There's something quite odd about that family visage.

I watched it, got all girly, and cried.
(Let's blame that on sleep deprivation. Honestly, I didn't stay up to watch it - other pressing matters kept me from sleep.)

I thought it was lovely. She looked gorgeous - great dress!
They seem happy enough.
I really hope there isn't some Camilla-type in the wings. I don't think I could stomach another "tampon in the trousers of my true love" type sentiment.

The long shots of the walk up the aisle were beautiful. The little flower girls and page boys were just adorable.

Royalist or not, it was a lovely wedding.

I was sick, so spent the day in bed watching. That dress was divine, as was Pippa's. Let's hope their future llife will be happy. LOL, also loved when Harry stole a glance of her coming up the aisle and said to Will, 'Wait till you see her!"...and when Will did see her and caught his breathe, his words to her 'You look beautiful'.

I'll survive. I'm sure she would be very proud. LOL, I know many think Wills is the catch, but as far as fun and that something extra, I think Harry would make for a very interesting husband to say the least....I think for all his cheeky ways, he has hidden depths he keeps under wraps.

I agree about Harry. He seems to have Diana's impish sense of fun. Really thought he shone today.

The one thing that struck me immediately was, she's incredibly painfully thin now.

I know brides want to look their best on their wedding day, but she was perfectly thin before. She looks like she lost 20 pounds on a body that couldn't afford 10 to lose.

Loved the dress. Not something I would choose for myself (it wouldnt suit my body shape) but I thought it looked beautiful; understated elegance.

I liked that she would break into a smile/grin quite a lot afterwards; she seems a lot more natural to me.

It made me reminisce a bit actually. I started thinking how I'd like to find someone with whom I have such a fantastic relationship with, that marriage might be on the cards again one day afterall.
Of course it could be that I was stuck in yet again on a Friday night on my todd, watching someone elses wedding lol

I didn't watch, but I did sell a $90 pair of panties to a very sweet gentleman last night who came in just before we closed asking for "A special pair of panties... For watching the Royal Wedding, of course." I've sold a lot of panties to boys [who are girls] over the years, but panties to wear while watching a Royal Wedding was a new one...

I didn't watch (wasn't awake!), but I've seen many of the newscasts about it. Kate is beautiful and seems like a nice woman, and I loooove that dress.

I've gotten annoyed with the news articles online, though. It seems like every single tiny detail about the wedding is seen as some subtle tribute to Lady Diana... Which rubs me the wrong way, because they did honor her memory, but the media doesn't need to beat us over the head with it.

Must admit, I felt a bit off when they got engaged and Wills gave her his mothers engagement ring instead of a new one. Diana did not have the best of luck once she became involved with the royals, so seems a bit like tempting fate to give Catherine her engagement ring.
