Wal-Mart brings back gun sales

Rifles and probably shotties. Airsoft and BB guns. Best ammo prices in town, of course.

It makes sense to me. The way they were doing it was kind of pointless, if your going to go through the trouble of selling guns why have such a tiny gun selection.

Same here. Well, NH, not Vermont. My nearest is on the Republican side of the river. I suspect, given VT gun laws, that Wal-Mart gives them away free here.

Good!

Its about time I get a shotgun. I gave mine away in 1981 cuz of the kids.

Oh I hope mine doesn't get them back in. When people return them, they're an SOB to try & get credit for & then are an even bigger pain in the ass to return to the manufacturer. Thanks for making my job suck just that much more!

I could use a new shotgun. My dad's old 12 gauge pump comes near to knocking me over every time I shoot it, and it's so long I can barely swing the barrel up. I need a 20 gauge with an 18 inch barrel. That's what I call home protection.

Still probably knock me on my ass, but it'll be a whole lot worse for any bastard at the other end. Don't even need to aim. Just point and shoot.

Tell me when you're ready to sell the 12-ga...

Limb saver recoil pad and have a gunsmith shorten the barrel.

Sorry...got a cousin who wants it real bad. Don't know why, but he says it's a good gun. I don't even know what brand it is. My mom insisted I take it when dad died.

I think my good cous would turn it on me if I ever sold it to anyone else. And he is family after all.

It mostly stands in a corner of my closet. I rarely use it and only take it out to clean it occasionally. Just this Easter another cousin offered to take me skeet shooting (or is it trap? I don't know the difference). I might try it but damn, it delivers a nasty kick for somebody like me.

Practical advice. That's what I need. Do those pads really work? I mean, this is a physical thing. I'm not too big and I swear I have to set my stance really carefully or it knocks me off balance, which pretty much rules out using it for hunting (which I haven't done since I was a kid with a single-shot .410).

I also have a really long-barreled 16-gauge that used to belong to my grandpa. I'm told he used to go duck hunting along the Illinois River with it way back in the day. My cous told me to never even try to shoot that one until I have it inspected and refurbished by a pro. It's not in good shape.

I own a scoped .22 too. Got that for Christmas when I was 14. I love to plink around with that one. My kid's been learning to shoot it too.

Who needs Walmart? Just come shop my bedroom.

They work great.I love 16 ga. I had a 16 ga. Remington pump and it worked great, Just hard to find 16 ga. shells now, unless you reload your own.
