Were not doing too bad here... a few have been spotted overhead but not much goin on down on the ground. Its still kinda early in the season for us though.

where's Toto? oh my!
fingers crossed for you it stays that way - we're hearing 65 tornadoes in 3 days in NC!
I am further north and west of NC, in the southern part of IL just outside of Kentucky and Missouri. The poor souls further south have already taken a beating the last few weeks. I really hope they are able to pull through without much more loss.
you know, tornadoes and nasty stuff?
hope so![]()
popcorn.... I live at the intersection of 148 and I-57... How close are you?
Were just a little further north than you are. I always wondered if there were any locals round here.
im okay got wild fires all around me but im alright thanks for asking
Lots of wild weather here Friday and Saturday: huge thunderstorms and really windy. We were lucky though: didn't even lose power. Gracias for asking, Chippy.![]()
just a holler out to you guys to make sure y'all safe 'n' sound![]()
Still all in one piece! Raleigh, which is northeast of us, had terrible damage from tornadoes, with several killed, so we are very lucky. We had lots of strong storms over the weekends but did not even lose power (unlike some of our neighbors).
I have been answering calls and email from ee's family all afternoon, so it is good to know you all love us.

You know we doI'm still waiting to hear from other LIt friends in NC.
Those mountains nearby are good for something besides pretty views. I heard the eastern part of your state, closer to the ocean and flat, had at least 90 confirmed tornados and quite a few fatalities.
Me love you? Never.
Now there might be some sense of obligation and caring for the big guy...

Did u survive last night? We are still without power and picking up a bit of debris other than that we're still here!

Were good, thanks for askin! We ended up with some tree limbs down in the back yard, and we had thought it best to bring the dog in. Her dog house blew across the yard. I am thankful that the storm wasnt as powerful as it seemed. We had 69 mph winds, which are pretty strong and the cable was knocked out for the first part of the day. I hope the recovery is quick down around LoE.goodness gracious! more storms? thank heavens you're ok. let's hope popcorn is as well![]()
