Teen Titans: Fast Forward (OOC)

But that's kinda the point. There are lots of things that COULD be happening but none of it ever explained to us. The reality is somethings we aren't supposed to ask.

I'll play in the other one if you start it up and with that many member of the Batfamily floating about you won't be able to steal them all heh. Besides fighting against Brainiac'll be a blast.

Actually, I wouldn't be playing anyone from the Bat Family in the DCUO game. I'd be playing Superman, Green Lantern, and some customs. Oh, and I am TOTALLY getting DCUO. My laptop couldn't handle it, but it is also out on PS3.

Hey Kuu, we should do a one on one. I was reading through your SRP Profile. We could do a game about a dark prince and the innocent girl he falls for. Like, the prince is half demon half human, son of the Devil King. From the time he was very young, he was raised to be a brutal murderer, urged to give in to his inner darkness. The girl first believes him to be a cruel tyrant like his father, but over time she notices that deep down, he still has a lot of good in him.

My idea for the story is that your girl is the daughter of General Drake, leader of Division Zero, which is a collaborative agency operated by the United Nations and the various hidden magical communities. This started a few years ago when the Devil Wars began after the Devil King invaded the other realms. He sent his son, my character, to kidnap the daughter of General Drake as ransom, but when the Prince was about to jump back through his portal with his prisoner, a massive spell was cast by a group of Division Zero wizards, and the Netherworld was sealed off from Earth.

The Prince received a telepathic message from his father telling him to go on the run and keep Drake's daughter captive, that they were working on a way to remove the seal. So, over the next days and weeks, our characters travel the world, never staying in one place too long. At first, your girl is scared of my prince, because he is obviously cruel and evil. But she begins to see his inner good. This begins to show because the prince himself starts to fall for your girl. The second he snatched her, he was mesmerised by her beauty. At first he is very mean to her, but he immediately begins to lighten up a little, the look of terror on her face making him feel a pang of guilt for the first time in centuries. He finds it disturbing to see such a beautiful face with a look of horror on it.

Somewhere along the line, he sees her smile and laugh for the first time, and it begins to melt his heart. He can't help but smile a little himself, but it takes a long time for him to actually give in to his feelings. His father's harsh beatings from when he was a kid have burned evil deeply into his roots. Ultimately, your girl discovers his cruelty comes from a deep-seeded fear of his father. He is cruel to others to spare himself his father's cruelty. But she gives him the strength to face his fears, and in the end, he helps Division Zero take down his father.

Whatcha think?

Yeah, I wish DCUO was on 360. Now I have to go buy a PS3 just to play it. And it's actually Microsoft's fault we don't have any good MMOs on the 360 -- they demand a large percentage of all revenue from any games played through Xbox Live.

Don't try to keep up with this thread if you aren't Jeff or me. There is a time line on page two or three the rest of this is two geeks debating metaphysics. It doesn't matter, speaking of which Jeff there is this other more formal Teen Titans thread that maybe you should post in (or star or Argent.)

I was waiting to post till Matt does. That way the thread doesn't get too far ahead of him. But speaking of that, just a heads up, my posting may be slower in the months to come. I had to visit the ER a while back due to a back strain from unloading a semi, and my insurance was supposed to cover it. Guess what? Just got the letter today that they're not covering shit. Now I owe well over two grand. So, because of that, I am forced to go get a second job, which will cut a HUGE chunk out of my free time. I'm going to try and work out a payment plan with the hospital, but regardless, I'm tired of money being an issue, so I'm getting a second job, also full-time, if possible.

If Matt doesn't post by tonight, I'll go ahead and do mine. I'm also gonna be working my ass off when I wake up to get my Dark Horse submission done so I can send it off. I have the synopsis done, but I still have to finish the intro script.

Thanks, Knight.

Also, we should all get together at ComicCon next year. We can all crash in Princess's living room to avoid paying for a hotel! Well, YOU guys can crash in her living room. I'm pouncing on her while she is sleeping.

LOL. You can send me photos from Comic Con. I feel. . .wrong about going and not dressing up. I'm not a huge fan of blade and. . .SHIT I'm pretty much limited to Blade and charachters nobodies ever heard of. Also Jeff before you start rattling people off just cus YOU'VE heard of them doesn't mean people have heard of them. Black Panther not only doesn't count but he's probably most famous today for being Storm's sometime paramour. I suppose you could make something that resembles an argument for Jon Stewart of the Green Lanterns. I'd slap you around with Guy Gardener all day and point out which Lantern is in the movie. I suppose there is the idea that since I'll be a a geek factory I could probably dress up as the guy from panel three of Action Comics twelve and I'd just be the guy with the most obscure knowledge and everybody would be geeking out but still.

Also on the subject I'm far far far to paranoid to sleep in a house filled with geeks on par with or out of my league. That way lies madness. At best you guys pounce her, they can have the couch and I'll find me a nice car . . .parked a safe distance away.

Duuuuuuuude...also reading through the back-and-forth between you two makes me think a lot of Sheldon and Leonard on The Big Bang Theory. Fun to read and at times to much to comprehend :)

Suddenly everything shifts from the blanche browns and reds of a destroyed city and shifts to grey scale. Everything but Ben frozen perfectly in place. A perfectly plain man, so average he stand out for his blandness approaches ben wearing a long whtie lab coat and holding and staring passively at a golden pocket watch. "Well Ben, you've found the Titans. Sadly they are stuck in stasis. Wanna go for a smoothie?"

An almost heart breaking frown oozed across young Ben's face as he looked around. Six years of waiting. "Sure why not. Actually hold on a second." Ben climbs out of the message to grab something from above.

If Matt doesn't post by tonight, I'll go ahead and do mine. I'm also gonna be working my ass off when I wake up to get my Dark Horse submission done so I can send it off. I have the synopsis done, but I still have to finish the intro script.

"Wait a minute that was over twenty four hours ago and I think he's been back since!" Ben grumbled walking off with Paradox.

Parodox reached down and placed a hand on the hero's shoulder. "Look at it this way nobody else has posted either and submitting something to a professional company is serious bussiness. This is how he makes his living. It's not right to complain about him and not the others."

"I am complaining about the others. It's like they don't even want to save the world! Don't they even ca-"

Psst, Ben you're making me look bad. Jeffinator just posted while you were ranting so maybe we wrap this up?"

"Oh right. Might not get another chance at this. Goin' Rath!" With all the melodrama the teen could muster Ben slapped the Omnitrix and was replaced with the bipedal tiger.

Lil Bo eyed Rath,

"You an' me gots to talk some time, furball."

"Let me tell you something Lil Bo, I know exactly what you wanna talk about and it's about something Rath took from you. Accept this as an apology or I'll kick your ass until you think it's a hat!"

Okay enough Ben. You had you're. . .oh not much you can respond to? May as well stay here, maybe we'll invite Dr. Who and Marty McFly over that could be interesting.

On a more serious note bitchin, we have movement in the main thread.

That might just be the understatement of the year. But we have eight months left, I'm sure something else will be just as spot on. I might have to close my office and drive to Barnes N Noble before I start trying to figure out what cartoon charachters the are hiding in the plaster.

Weird. My crazy post is less funny drunk. . .maybe I need to work out the nuances of this whole breaking reality shit.

i'll post again once the others post again

Being sober for more than an hour or two sucks. How do you all manage it without killing. . .you know everybody?

Well, it's not easy, haha. The last time I was shit-faced drunk was well over a year ago. Though, on that night, the Jager bottle was my best friend, and then my worst enemy when the heartburn hit, lol.

Not sure what to do with Lil Bo now. Just let him finish dragging the dead lizard to his bike and take off?
