Supposedly there is also a correlation with circulating "blood" through these tubes called "arteries" and "veins." Not conclusive yet, but evidence is mounting.

LOL, sounds like our libraries might be similar. I even picked up a book describing how it would feel to experience various things, including methods of dying and being murdered by a few different means....is a great resource for writing.

Few years ago Midsummer Murders showed it in a middle class naughty (but still dead), light.
Since the spanner case it seems to have become worse.

there was a theme running through CSI which was kinda kink positive. I mean after the fucking Gor fan got busted torturing prostitutes, you can see why it gets a bad rep at times.

I never the csi portrayal, but yes, as a group we seem to have a few people on both sides of the atlantic who show BDSM in a poor way.
