"I like the smell of gasoline, I wonder if napalm smells similar...?"

"I wonder if Zy has read the little snippet I wrote in Ye Olde S33k & Finde?"

"I wonder if JW realizes he misspelled 'argument'?"

You should watch it soon as you can. It's pretty good.

And about stalking around....

DO IT! DO IT! DOOOOO IIIIIIIIT!!!!

I apparently have the capacity to have some really melancholy dreams. Even my own subconscious is shocked at it, so it goes back and tries to edit after the initial idea forms.

Hey...I like melancholy, even if it is sad... hugs

Smiles and nods, hugging back.

So here's the gist-a bit rough, on account of being a dream.

There's a loyal German woman, mid 20s, who's called up to spy, perhaps serve as a sleeper agent in advance of the anticipated Allied invasion of France in the 40s. She's tasked with identifying Resistance cells and supplying information about troop movements. She's a clever manipulator, having already used her abilities to win an engagement to wealthy German gentleman.

She ends up in a smallish town (I guess in France, though nobody was speaking French in my dream) and made to look like an abused refugee, and a good bit younger (17ish) than she really is. My parents (I guess I'm living in France in this one) end up taking her in, and I fall in love with her while visiting several times. She's caught up in fitting in, and ends up getting distracted with her assignment, and the lines between her real identity and her assumed identity end up blurred. Eventually she breaks down while the war rages and her German fiancé arrives to pick her up and take her back to Germany, and I'm forced to watch her driving off. She asks me to take care of this dog she had adopted. (also, she leaves her cell phone behind, which is a bit disjointed with the WWII imagery).

Back in Germany, she ends up having a psychotic break as the Allied invasion continues, ends up joining the ranks and killing 26 American soldiers before shooting herself.

Then my brain goes back and edits this-perhaps a consequence of sleeping in on the weekend. This ends up being a premonition I had before it actually happens, so I volunteer to go on a dangerous secret mission to assassinate Hitler and try to bring the war to a faster end before she has the chance to go crazy. My poor parents are devastated to learn, of course, that the refugee they'd taken in was a German sleeper agent, and they try to talk me out of going.

But, of course, in the way of dreams, eventually I end up succeeding, and start running around through the German lines shouting, "Der Fuhrer ist tot! Der Fuhrer ist tot! (The Fuhrer is dead)"

That's basically how it ended-don't know if I ended up finding the girl or not.
