I am making a post to craigslist looking for a new sub, and while I live in too small a town now to post pics of myself, I'd like to post some pics evocative of the kind of sex/relationship I'm looking for.

So basically I'm looking for fetishy pics that tastefully display the M/f BDSM dynamic. I'd like a mixture of classy high brow images and some nasty vulgar ones. Looking for high impact, memorable images like the kinds Holy Devil posts. Also like at least one image displaying an M/f/f scene as I'd prefer bi respondents.

What do you say gang?

Check out the favorite BDSM pics thread. You should be able to find *plenty* of appropriate pics in there. Just make sure you have some lube and a towel handy while you're reviewing the thread... just in case.

Do you think my post will get flagged if I request a woman with a history of sexual abuse?

Yes. And you don't want to fuck with the weight of the well-intentioned poorly considered antitrafficking mood.

Why is it that if I want to work with the underprivileged I'm a saint but if I want to date the unfortunate I'm a predator.

Think of me as a sexual philanthropist.

I think Amazon has a cheap copy of How to Pick Up Girls at Sexual Abuse Support Groups.

Not following...

WTF! Abuse victims needs love too!

I got no problem with it because I know what you mean - just some good clean dysFUNction. But if you've been reading the news:

There's a huge amount of law enforcement scrutiny put on the CL at the moment because apparently it's some kind of a huge purveyor of trafficked women in the past. Mostly in the erotic services section, but personals too. Noble outrage, moronic response.

This kind of thing just might red flag the wrong people with nothing untoward on your part.

Ah, this I didn't know.

Googling "craigslist human trafficking" now.

That's sick. You may not think you are a predator but you actually are. I do commend you though for wanting to help out those in need. What a terrific guy. People that are sexually abused need real love, understanding, and often counseling, not someone who wants to use their past to his advantage. You wouldn't be helping them but making their situation worse, all for your pleasure, not theirs. Maybe we can watch you on Dateline NBC one of these days.

Wow, Ms. W.

Did you read from the first post? I did and I didn't catch anything that should put one on the offensive. Maybe you should slow your roll sunshine.

maybe just use words and a decent picture of yourself. you may find using stolen photos could land you in the shit more than the potentially dodgy search for sexual abuse victims.

I doubt he's going to get into much trouble using other people's images in a CL ad, as long as he's not trying to pass them off as himself.

unless the person who owns it happens to see it. It is theft, you know?

Not necessarily. Depends on if it's public domain, if the photographer says his stuff can be distributed freely, fair use laws, etc.

But if that applies to CL, then it also applies to the various image threads here, and nobody's really getting up in arms about that. It's if you start making money off of these things that they tend to get pissy.

There's also a serial killer who's been targeting craigslist prostitutes in the last few months. I would imagine there is a lot of scrutiny of the erotic services section.

I don't even see an erotic services section anymore... did they remove it?

if the snapper gives permission, all well and good. ganking someone's work to 'illustrate' a craiglist personals isn't going to constitute fair use and just because something is on the net it doesn't mean it's 'free'.

and if you think artists only get pissy if someone's making money, then you should check out the REAPS project on fetlife.

Exactly. And we don't know if he/she has or hasn't.

I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not going to speculate. And I never said that just because something was online means that it's free. But I also know that plenty of artists/writers/etc. do not mind someone using their work, as long as credit is given. In the case of pictures, "credit given" can mean leaving the watermark on it.

I said they TEND to get pissy if someone is making money off their work, not they ONLY get pissy if someone's making money.

Ugh. Sorry, Marquis.

Mr TRB is a professional photographer so we're kinda up on the legalities around this in the UK and USA at least.
