Which party is in whose pocket?

It doesn't surprise me, because you aren't honest enough to give a source for the chart, which, of course, has been as much "pick and choose" to make a false reactionary partisan agenda point as you are.

(But, no, it doesn't surprise me that Democrats take corporate money. Where did you think all of that money came from for any party, including the third parties? Just now coming to the party, are you, Zeb?)

Zeb's a bit naive. He thinks liberals are under the impression that angels and unicorns give money to good hearted Democrats. Republicans like him tend to view liberals as wide-eyed innocents that need to be shown reality--and isn't that ironic given the fairytales he believes? He doesn't quite understand that this isn't some kind of thunderous bombshell. This is YAWN. So what else is new?

Businesses have always given money to political parties of all stripes. Businesses always will give money to them. So all that really matters is which businesses giving money to whom for what.

Major corporations don't care who gets elected, so they spread their money fairly evenly, because they want to be in the good graces of both. There are exceptions, such as when McGovern was nominated by the Dems in 1972. He was such a certain loser most corps saved money by not contributing to the Dems.

Of course, unions and trial lawyers give the big bucks only to Dems, in hopes of getting get favorable legislation, and usually succeeding. To them, it would be a waste to donate to the GOP.

A BIT? :D

Somebody should have introduced him to Lyndon Johnson--or to Ronald Reagan, who was a Demcrat before he was a Republican, which was before he became God.

As 3113 and pilot have already said;

We know. We aren't surprised. This isn't news.

Just to get you up to speed, Zeb, as you seem to be a little behind, here is a few other things you don't need to tell us Liberals about politicians and who pays them--and yes, that's politicians for any and all parties, even, believe it or not, Teabaggers and Peace & Freedom

(1) Politicians not only get money from big businesses, but from Foreign nationals (they get fed this money via sneaky ways, but they do get fed it. Other countries are interested in manipulating our politics to favor them).

(2) Politicians not only get money from big businesses but from religious organizations. Again, usually not openly, but organized religions do find ways to financially support those they fell will support them and the faith.

(3) Politcians not only get money from big businesses but from Hollywood actors. And here's the big surprise: all different kinds of political parties get support from the supposedly liberal Hollywood, not just Democrats! Even....Republicans! Amazingly enough, there have been actors who fiercely supported conservative politicians...and even became them.

So, seeing as you are trying to hard to be fair and balanced, I hope that next time you're on a right-wing forum and they start to bitch and moan about liberal Hollywood, you'll set 'em straight. It is, after all, a very good idea to clean up your own house before you try to clean up others. Especially when you seem to know nothing about that other house.

I sort of doubt that major corporations give any money to marginal groups such as the Peace and Freedom Party or similar groups. They might give some support the TEA party, which is less marginal, but they mostly donate to Reps. and Dems.

The PFP gets most of its big bucks from rich libs, including some Hollywood members, and from extreme organizations, such as Moveon and others like that. They also get small amounts from individuals who are not rich, but never from me. I do not define "Peace" or "Freedom" as they do.

In the Immortal Words

of H. Ross Perot (the one with the ears): "They hain't a dime's wuth o'difference between 'em".

I see a lot more jackass' on that chart than elephants.

Didn't respond to any of the questions posed to you by your decision to post this, did you?

That would, of course, throw you in with the jackasses.

You are way, way, way out of your element in discussing politics, Zeb. Better stick to nonselling publishing as a means to pump up your self-esteem.

Based on data released by the FEC on February 07, 2011.

Well, that certainly shows how dishonest you are, Zeb, doesn't it? :D

140 organizations on that chart; only 20 on your "based on" version.

You should try for a job as a neocon lobbyist. It would be nice for you to find something you were half good at.

Actually, you dumbfuck, I posted the complete list of 140...so go back to sucking whatever it is you suck to get you ego so bloated you think you are a legend...in your own mind.

And it doesn't matter anyway. Zeb thought we would be surprised by the realities of political donations.

Durrrr....

Wow, another blatant lie. Your OP provides a chart of twenty--and no source citation.

Who do you think you're fooling?

(Incidentaly, Zeb, posting it at all was a copyright violation. Of course, the last time we got into this, you claimed you had the owner's permission. And then someone pointed out that you had the name of the author wrong to begin with. And then the Web site deleted it. And then you blustered and pouted. So, we all know what a liar you are. :D)

Again, you are way, way, way out of your intellectual league here.

No, you posted a picture of twenty.
Without a link.

Your image linked to a completely different website but not to the post it was used for.

I used google to find the original source, and posted it--
In doing so, we discover that the image covers 140 donors insteqad of only twenty, and the ratio, by the way, of red to blue is pretty equal-- then you posted as if you had that link all along.

What an asshole.

Why do you initiate this political crap, Zeb? You suck at it.
