Businesses have always given money to political parties of all stripes. Businesses always will give money to them. So all that really matters is which businesses giving money to whom for what.
Just to get you up to speed, Zeb, as you seem to be a little behind, here is a few other things you don't need to tell us Liberals about politicians and who pays them--and yes, that's politicians for any and all parties, even, believe it or not, Teabaggers and Peace & Freedom
(1) Politicians not only get money from big businesses, but from Foreign nationals (they get fed this money via sneaky ways, but they do get fed it. Other countries are interested in manipulating our politics to favor them).
(2) Politicians not only get money from big businesses but from religious organizations. Again, usually not openly, but organized religions do find ways to financially support those they fell will support them and the faith.
(3) Politcians not only get money from big businesses but from Hollywood actors. And here's the big surprise: all different kinds of political parties get support from the supposedly liberal Hollywood, not just Democrats! Even....Republicans! Amazingly enough, there have been actors who fiercely supported conservative politicians...and even became them.
So, seeing as you are trying to hard to be fair and balanced, I hope that next time you're on a right-wing forum and they start to bitch and moan about liberal Hollywood, you'll set 'em straight. It is, after all, a very good idea to clean up your own house before you try to clean up others. Especially when you seem to know nothing about that other house.
