It's just that I was made fun of when I was younger for being chubby...and worst of all for having crazy curly hair when all the girls in my class were cute, tiny and had straight hair! When people see pictures of me, they often say that I was gorgeous. I look at them with disbelieve because all I see is an ugly, fat child. But I would..because my peers made me feel that. I dislike when others do that to people who have so much to offer and are beautiful whether it be on the outside or inside.

My son is only just going through puberty. He is the smallest of his teammates and the coach does not play him because of that. *actually the coach made a comment about it and in front of the other kids* My son is a talented lefty pitcher. Amazingly so, yet because this coach discriminates against him, he sits the bench. And has kids who make errors throughout the scrimmage games ask him how it feels to "ride" the bench.

What Lance is doing is nothing new. It's a crappy circle that is never ending. Life lessons are given by so many people yet, we only remember the mean ones.

I just hope more people come out and speak their minds. There is nothing better than THOSE types of numbers.

It really doesn't matter. I got over 4500 views on my AV alone when I had it up in a thread. About 10 people commented on it. So in theory, if you have nothing nice to say, don't. Which is why I suspect many people who viewed it, didn't really have things to say! AND that's ok.
