I have contacted several over the last year and a half. So far the right person has not presented themselves. I will keep looking and hopefully one of the ones I contacted today would be happy to assist. I do have a friend outside here that is taking a look at the work as well

Intrested in making sure the story has the chops I wish it to. That being said story line is a bit complex, and some of the subject matter is not allowed on this site.
When I get most of the heavy edits done I will create a posting containing the original Idea behind it as well as some of the research info.

How long is too long for a review?
The first chp. is about 20 typed pages. Do I break this into smaller parts and post them indiviualy, or copy and paste the whole thing?

As someone else suggested, you should try the Editor's forum, and include all the info you've included here. I know myself that I don't like to agree to editing without some idea of what's inside -- I don't like to edit non-con, for instance, so it helps to know that up front. That way no one's time is wasted. Also, I don't know how many will be interested in editing something that can't be posted here, although it can of course be posted elsewhere.

I've found that a good estimate (depending on font, etc.) is that 6 typed (Word) pages equals one Lit screen page. So you're looking at about 4 screen pages with what you have in your first chapter. That's about as far as I like to go -- I can't read much more than that at one go on the screen, so I keep mine to that limit when possible.

I would omit the parts that were un publishable here. it's only one tiny portion the the story
(May remove it not sure yet.) I do try to give a gerneral idea of the goals etc. when contacting the VEs.

I will look at the thread recomended and read the forum rules, before making that post.
