morning aussies

well, the clipsal 500 was pretty exciting! especially sunday's race... rain always has a way of mixing things up! i'm looking forward to the hamilton race now.

we're expecting about 160ml of rain over today and tomorrow. a good thing, as my rain tanks sorely need replenishing!
my sheeples won't like it much though - they're out in a temporary paddock which has no shelter while we rest the main paddocks and try to clear the footrot and worm issue (takes 7 to 10 days for the bugs and worms/eggs to die in the soil).
so the sheeples will be crying at me for a while.
they are nearly ready for cull.... mmmmm, lamb! (i've been supplement feeding them with a muesli blend to get the flesh as yummy as possible )

i've done some damage to my back - again *sigh
i am sooooooo completely over this injury.... 4 years on and i'm still tweaking it every so often
and today of all days.... flat on my back or sitting like i've got a rod up my spine.... the kidlets have decided to cook for me tonight, but i doubt i'll get a birthday dinner! (with the boys cooking, it's likely to be baked beans on toast! lol)

did anyone go check out the supermoon the other night?
i got the telescope out, but i really didn't need it! the moon was absolutely HUGE, and so clear and bright i could see all the features with the naked eye!
by the time i got the camera set up with the telescope, the clouds had moved in and i lost the chance to get a pic
hopefully, at the next full moon, i'll get the chance to try again. the moon may be slightly further away, but it should still be close enough to get a few decent shots.
providing there's no cloud then, of course! this is tassie, after all!

i am seriously considering attempting to replace the head on my ford LTD in the coming week.
i have all the tools and parts (replacement head, gasket kit, head bolts, etc.) as well as the manual.
it really shouldn't be too hard.... after all, i've done quite a few bits on cars over the years - and i have the added bonus that if i get into too much strife doing it, my landlord's son is in his 3rd yr as a mechanical engineer, and he's said i can give him a call to help me.
the only thing i think i'll struggle with is the timing belt - i've never done anything with timing before.
we'll see - if it's too hard to get the car off the property to the mechanic, i might just do it!

right - time to go take a painkiller even just sitting here at the computer for 10 mins has made me rather sore

Trouble with road racing is not enough overtaking places on their tracks, didn't watch it at all but rain makes it a little bit more like speedway which I love.

Bad news about the back WQ but I've had mine for more than 20 years & it still hurts often regardless of what I do, I think it;s been hurting for a while now mainly due to rain so well know what your going through.

Could find a problem doing the head if block needs a trim up as the head problems could be both the head & block both needed a shave, hope I'm wrong & this isn't a job with a bad back either.

Wearing my new drop dead sexy compression stockings....skin coloured ones...now tell me just upon whom are these skin coloured??? Certainly not my cafe latte colouring I can tell you. I did ask the Occ, therapist whether they came in fishnets, but she sort of smiled and shook her head in a little embarrassment.

Hoping they'll look good with the leather corset I'm planning on wearing later in the week (smiles), but the immediate thought is that they will look odd. Maybe instead of my boots I can wear my crocs with it....laughs...now that will be a look. Fet slut meets bogan. Yum....

MzMoon you have given me several big LOLs with this post firstly with the sinners & angels bit with the wondering why the 2 are not the same as I am an angel who is also a sinner but who sets the rules as to who is a sinner as religion has no part in me life as the greatest crimes in history have been in the name of religion. Don't get me started on that subject.

Now the bit about compression stockings I too use these when to much fluid on the help fight the cramping I get on dialysis to remove the fluids & your right as I'm classed as "white" they don't match my skin colour either but must admit I have been asked if I'm a native Australian in the past because I tan up quickly with little sun.
As for the crocs cringe I can't see why anyone ever thought they looked cool, I was given a pair years ago & gave them to the first charity bin I saw (I actually went looking for the charity bin).
I found that almost every therapists seem to have their SOH removed during training as with all the times I've had to visit them I only found one who laughed.

Now the corset this is nothing to laugh at & sounds extreemly interesting maybe even a new AV of the loverly MzMOON sounds exciting to me.

Welcome Spanky for the loverly Central Coast, I spent a lot of my early years in & around Long Jetty when it was still fairly bush area was last visiting up there at Parmdale but couldn't resist a drive through the Enterance with a lunch at the pub then a drive along the beaches before returning to Sydney.

There are several here who also enjoy some kink too so you should feel at home among us.

Our Aussie thread is one of the longerst, biggest thread here on LIT so there is quite a bit of reading.

To me Speedway is my sport although bike on any surface also but F1 is only a yawn fast off the front sucks follow the leader stuff & the only was I'll watch is if it rains then it gets interesting. Most passing only happens when someone gets a quick pit stop. YAWN.
