ACORN Pimp and convicted criminal James O'Keefe plays fast and loose with the truth again and gets busted.....again! At least no dildos are involved in this caper.

The Blaze Finds That The NPR ‘Sting’ Video Used ‘Questionable Editing & Tactics’

Yesterday, an excellent in-depth analysis was done on the NPR sting video from James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas group. By comparing the unedited footage with the version widely circulated, the analysis concluded that that Project Veritas’ editing of the tapes was “questionable” and “deceptive” enough to be “unethical” by journalism standpoints. This really shouldn’t be surprising to anyone who’s followed O’Keefe and the other “investigative journalists” he’s inspired from either political ideology. What is surprising, however, is who did the video analysis. It was completed by The Blaze, the news and opinion site founded by Glenn Beck.

The analysis was written up by The Blaze’s Scott Baker and conducted by their in-house video producer Pam Key. The resulting article found numerous conflicts between the source material (or raw footage) and what appears in the edited version, then showcases the differences in a series of short videos comparing the two. One clip shows much of what Ron Schiller (the NPR executive featured in the video) said about the Tea Party was actually a paraphrasing of what others have said.

This clip below shows that, in the actual meeting, the actors downplayed their involvement with the Muslim Brotherhood right after bringing it up. In the original video, this is excised, implying that Schiller had no problem hearing a blunt declaration of the Brotherhood connection.

You'd think they would have learned by now to hold off on reacting to these stunts until they've been checked out.

Tell that to Obama what with the Cops and that lady he fired over her racist remarks.

I think the thing here is more to what Juan Williams has brought to light.

" They will say things to your face about how there's no liberal orthodoxy at NPR, how they play it straight, but now you see it for what it is. They prostitute themselves for money." As to Schiller's remarks about the Jews dominating the newspaper industry Williams said that was "outright anti-Semitism," and labeling Tea Party members "gun-toting" "racists" reveals "their real feelings." " This is how they talk in boardrooms and editorial meetings, explained Williams. "This is how they really feel."

THAT SAYS IT ALL

Just pretend it isnt what it is..........you dont have enough sand in your "head" yet

Help me understand. If anything shady happened with the video that misrepresented what was truly stated, then why did 2 high level execs at NPR lose their jobs?

Yes, I understand that you feel the end justifies the means. I'm talking about at the level of the organization. This is the third (fourth) time in a row that this has happened. You'd think they would learn.

Juan Williams is a Fox sucking whore.

"labeling Tea Party members "gun-toting" "racists" reveals "their real feelings." " This is how they talk in boardrooms and editorial meetings, explained Williams. "This is how they really feel."

Well Juan maybe that's because that's what everybody with a brain knows.

The same reason ACORN lost it's funding and Shirley Sherrod lost her job.

60 Minutes won awards for the same damned thing. It's the target that's the issue here. The Left hates it when their tactics are employed against them. That's all. That's the only thing at issue here, the "HOW DARE YOU OUTRAGE" of the creators of this particular reporting "genre."

So, please stop with the alligator tears and sackcloth...

Look at Drixxx's posts and think the "Madison Mob."

Pure mindless hate and name-calling.

Name the story and the award won.

when the tapes were said to have been doctored in the past

I AXED a simple question

IF THEY WERE, SHOW US THE REAL TAPES

Hmmm.............never ever did they appear................

No one can say they were doctored UNLESS they have seen the ACTUAL TAPES

SHOW US!

Or

STFU

PS......none of the participants EVER SAID THE TAPES WERENT TRUTHFUL!

Acorn lost their funding because they were corrpt with taxpayer money. They forgot the rule "with responsibility comes accountability."

Shirley was dumped prematurely by her boss and should be living well after the wrongful termination suite (but she is not suing the people that fired her. Too bad).

Corrupt with tax payer money? Are you going to cite specifics or just make shit up like James O'Keefe? Exactly what money were they corrupt with? Please list all judicial findings and convictions.

You're talking right past me, in your excitement over the left's tactics being employed against them. No alligator tears here, just the kind of thing I might say to the NPR board if I were a fixer or other hired political operative.

That's part and parcel of my post; they cannot learn. They've been in the driver's seat for so long that their bias has become a political norm and "truthiness."

They don't think they've been stung, they think they represent and are speaking the truth but that us common redneck racists don't like the truth and that makes us mean and violent (of course, when they riot and fleebag, its justified in truth... ;) ;) ).

I'm sorry if it seems like talking past you; it is aimed more at Drixxx and his ilk.

No need to cite anything. Congress has the authority to fund them...or not, for whatever reason they choose. I know what I heard/saw on the videos and unless an expert comes by and deems every second of every Acorn video FALSE, then I stand by what O'Keefe recorded.

This doesn't really make sense in the context of their having fired the exec. They probably DO actually think of the proles as redneck racists, in their private counsels or when meeting in solemn conclave, but they're obviously well aware that they can't be upfront about this---thus the panicked reaction as they tried to get ahead of the news cycle. In other words, their reaction was "oh shit! busted!".

That's bad politics. It means your opponent is controlling the tempo and has you on the back foot.

I'd have advised them to say "Mister O-Keefe is a known trickster and propagator of false memes and we'll be reviewing this tape carefully before taking action".

The exec was already on the way out. The Head Person resigned.

There was truth in the tapes and everyone knows it since Juan was fired.

In that we seem to agree. BUT:

You would be giving bad advice because, thanks to Obama and especially Obamacare, the Democrat Left has lost complete control of the news cycle and just can't seem to get it back because they made a complacent benign "evil right" (as Drixxx would have it) set up and take notice and begin to push back at the agenda which had previously to the ego-in-chief been a frog slowly boiled.

If I was them, I would be advising a COMPLETE clearing of the decks and would get some actual appearance of counterbalance in the front office, even if it is David Brooks.

You're going to need some friends now in Congress, I would tell them, so you have to act guilty, appear contrite and play to the "sensibilities" of the RINOs...

Report Says ACORN Didn't Commit Voter Fraud or Misuse Federal Funding

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) did not commit voter fraud, and it didn't misuse federal funding in the last five years, according to a recently released report prepared by the Congressional Research Service (CRS), a nonpartisan investigational arm of Congress.

Among its findings, CRS also reported that recently enacted federal legislation to prohibit funding to ACORN raises significant constitutional concerns. The report said courts "may have a sufficient basis" to conclude that the legislation "violates the prohibition against bills of attainder." Also, concerning recent "sting" operations related to ACORN, although state laws vary, two states, Maryland and California, "appear to ban private recording of face to face conversations absent the consent of all the participants," the report said.

Brooklyn prosecutors on Monday cleared ACORN of criminal wrongdoing after a four-month probe that began when undercover conservative activists filmed workers giving what appeared to be illegal advice on how to hide money.

While the video by James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles seemed to show three ACORN workers advising a prostitute how to hide ill-gotten gains, the unedited version was not as clear, according to a law enforcement source.

"They edited the tape to meet their agenda," said the source.

O'Keefe and Giles - who visited ACORN offices in several cities, including its Brooklyn headquarters - stirred controversy when they posted the videos on their Web site.

They were hailed as heroes by the likes of Rush Limbaugh and their footage led several government agencies to temporarily cut funding for ACORN as the prosecutors opened an investigation.

Following a two-year probe, state investigators have cleared the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now of charges of voter fraud brought by Republican registrars in Bridgeport and Stamford.

"The evidence does not provide a sufficient basis to determine that Connecticut ACORN had an institutional or systematic role in designing and implementing a scheme or strategy to fraudulently register or enroll electors ... prior to the November 2, 2008 election," read the recent report from the Elections Enforcement Commission.

Jerry Brown: No Criminality Found On ACORN Tapes

Brown, a Democrat running for governor, said the tapes were highly edited.

Rather than give advice on prostituting underage girls, human trafficking and cheating on taxes, the attorney general's office found ACORN members at times caught on to the scheme and called the police in the portions of the videos that were cut.

"Sometimes a fuller truth is found on the cutting room floor," Brown said.

It seems ad hominem is okay as long as you approve of the target, eh hypocrite? :D

If you were a public defender, you'd be urging your client to plead out, take the eight-to-ten manslaughter rap...quick, the bar is closing soon!

This Congress isn't going to be any too impressed by Brooks RINOs,
