No, no, no....

The guy who had the tractor was caught in flagrante delicto with a neighbor's ewe (female sheep to the city slickers). The guy with the tractor had tried to keep the ewe. The guy with the car, the real owner of the ewe, was merely trying to avenge his ewe's honor. His name is Jed.

So it was "Return of the Jed Ewes"

It's one of those cultural oddities. While traditional Japanese culture is generally very polite and reserved their sense of humor is strictly baggy pants slapstick. This is one of the more subtle TV gags. Ever seen a Japanese game show? Phew!
