And while, at this point in time, I find myself without a committed partner, I've always felt like looking for a companion is like putting the cart before the horse.

In my experience, the best, strongest, most passionate and joyous connections I've made have been purely spontaneous. The person is the focus, not my need for a lover, a partner or a friend. I now when I meet someone and we "click" that a truly special moment has transpired.

It has happened frequently IRL - not just romantic partners, but friendships with men and women as well. I never dreamed that it could happen online as well, but I'm glad it has.
