"Firefly", "Serenity", and/or "Thunderdome": interested?
"Firefly", "Serenity", and/or "Thunderdome": Is there anyone interested in doing an RP based upon the television show "Firefly" and the followup movie, "Serenity". It would necessitate a general familiarity with the "Universe" they live in, BUT NOT a deep interest in writing Science Fiction; anyone can write in a sci-fi world without writing sci-fi.
This is NOT the game thread, so feel free to ask questions here if you have them ... AFTER YOU READ THE REPLIES HEREIN. HOWEVER if you are simply wanting to tell me you want to join, PM ME INSTEAD, otherwise this thread will fill up with random "I'm in's" and "How do I join's". Thanks. WriteAwayHoney
The time period of your writing can be post-"Miranda" -- if you know the movie, you know what that means -- or be back dated to fit into the earlier time periods; they can be extensions of or inserts into television episodes or be totally of your own creation; they can revolve about established tv/movie characters or around someone you cooked up out of the void.
THE ONLY THING I ASK is that they be tied to the episodes/movie in some way: either a canon character, or a new character existing in one of the established worlds/stations/etc., or a character acting within the established storyline in some way. (I shouldn't have to say this of course; that's common RP stuff.) And, of course, you can't go back and write something that changes "established history" in the episodes/movie. That's common sense as well.
Most importantly, they can be RP or "S"RP -- erotica, not porn please -- and can be totally your own doing or a collaboration with others.
THUNDERDOME: There was a thread begun and apparently abandoned -- before a single post was made -- in the SRP forum that would have followed the Mad Max storyline after the movie "Beyond Thunderdome". I would like to start one of those here!
