I don't really do 'fetish' as such. I have a black satin corset (it's abit fucked now after 15 odd years of use) which I love being tightlaced into. like others have said, I don't quite get why tightlaced corsets are seen as 'domme' wear, because they can be pretty restrictive. I absolutely HATE mainstream (is it really mainstream?) "femdom" clothing. I'm talking tight corset dripping with D rings, 5 inch stilletos with spikes, etc. It looks uncomfortable and much more masochistic than I'd want to be in sadist mode. Definitely made for male eye-candy and really, when you look at it, looks like bondage clothing and probably feels like bondage clothing too!

Not a big fan of the 'mainstream' (or whatever) femdom-look either. I'm actually even a bit annoyed by it - I haven't found much femdom that I can identify with, actually. I'm not the only one, right? It even looks like it would put one in the exact opposite mindset wearing it, but that might just be me.

Also: if I'd dress up like that, I'd feel rather clownish, I'm afraid. If only for the reason that I can't really walk in high heels and black or firetruck red ain't really my colors - I'd have to wear quite some face paint to pull it off. What does do it? Depends. I must admit: wearing red lipstick (and I mean the right kind of red, and the right amount) can make me feel on top of things in general, so it can also put me in a PYL mindset. But then I'd couple it with deceptively conservative clothes. Ironed shirts or something.

On the other end of the spectrum: some post-apocalyptic, trashy, worn looking stuff (on myself or others) can be delicious - in the right amount, that is. Don't overdo it. But yeah, metal thingies, cracked leather, jackets, boots, bracelets/cuffs, maybe even home made.
