Well, as someone just down the coast from where Yasi is going to hit, it's pretty fucking bad. 500 Km wide, with 250 kmh winds and moving straight to the coast at 30kmh. They evac'ed 250 patients from the Cairn's hospitals, and issues mandatory evec orders to about 30,000 people. They are projecting that it will produce damaging winds up to 300 kms from the eye of the cyclone, which has been measured at approximately 100kms in diameter.
Someone's opened a book on the next mass bushfire, plague of Locust/Mice and if the Leviathan will romp up onto Bondi Beach, or Kings Beach.
