Obama isn't smart enought, even with his early term speech in Cairo, to have promulgated this kind of an uprising, but, Rahm Immanuel, 'never waste a crisis', might be, and what a boon for Obama, like Wilson, like Roosevelt, like Truman, like Kennedy, like Johnson, like Clinton, all Democrats, a 'hot' war, always solves domestic problems...
