Btw, with the new Thursday opening day in MLB, I'm looking at either March 20 or March 27 as the draft date. March 27 is the Sunday before opening day, and obviously the 20th would be the week before that.

Any preference?

I'd be good with either. I'd like a week before the season to fix my roster as I'd like but its no big deal either way. But its not likely going to get much discussion about anything when no one knows their roster till a few days before the games begin.

Well I have an idea of what I wanna do with the draft. But there is a player I have targetted in trade I want as well. I offered a shit ton for hm last year and got turned down. I hope maybe my offer will be good enough this season.

So I have a mock draft coming up and I wanna see what everyone else thinks:

You dropped a lot of your guys too. Too much dealing and injuries? Still think Felix and Billingsly make a nice 1-2 pitching combo.

Yeah, I didn't include everybody just those I am considering.

Purty shures I will keep McCutchen and Cruz, beyond that I don't know.


Maybe i should gamble and keep 4 pitchers. Hudson and Hellickson and even Morrow are intriguing.

After a very little bit of thought, I'm leaning towards the 20th for the draft. Having it on the 27th would mean undrafted players not coming off the waiver wire until probably the Wednesday before games start.

Look for something the evening of the 20th.
