the level2 IT exams i wasn't expecting to sit today nor had even begun the coursework on ... due to all teh crap before christmas with job placement/charity work/money balls up and no2 son, i hadn't got started and the end of the course was the 20th jan. i'd phoned and asked to have the dates pushed on, a new start/finish date and was told 'fine, come in today and we can sort that out for you'. i got there, and one girl told me i could simply start today and go from there. then another guy came along and said if i took the exams today, they could allow me three months to learn the stuff and retake. or not do the exams and have 1 month. i opted to take them and passed anyway with an 87%, a 93% and a 98% so i'm all done. yay!

it was so lucky i had a 2 day IT course on my job placement covering most i needed to know. thank goodness i remembered it! *updates CV*

and

ANNNDDDDD i had 45 minutes per exam, but took no longer than 23 minutes on any of them. *polishes badge*

/boast :devil:

thankyou :D i can't help being pleased as i thought i had 3 months of hard work ahead of me learning the stuff :eek:

Congratulations.

It's nice to take an exam which gives you credit for what you already know and not what you just learned.

ty :D
Congratulations.

yeah, i'm with you there, bronze at it naturally devalues them

BUT - i still feel pleased with myself for learning in 2 days (in a secretarial job placement), and remembering, what was supposed to take 3 months to learn. so i look upon it as getting credit for learning the stuff anyway :cool:

Who says Poets have no practical skills!! Yay for you:rose::rose: (And I got a job too today). xx

Let me add my congratulations to chipbutty and fridayam!

Go Chip!!!:kiss::rose: And Congrats Fridayam!!:rose::kiss:

When I went back to school, I triggered a heap of my female friends to do it and they have all (with one exception, but she wasn't really commited) do really well too. I think it's having kids. Makes ya focused and responsible (or at least it should).
