The only real football is the round ball game - Gunners supporter here

Fave food mate

Thanks for the welcome Warrior Queen!

I call it "Football" 90% of the time Wasn't sure if I was going to met with Football hostility being the Aussie forum..... Good to hear that there is someone on here to vent about Liverpool with. I promise you, I'm a real fan!

Arsenal had a great win a couple yesterday, hope you guys can pull the rug out from under Man U this year.

On to the next question:

Fave food

A really good BLT with avocado and some herbed mayo.... or maybe that's what I feel like now. There's a cafe down the road that make a really nice one!

Soccer.

I like to watch English soccer - Liverpool is my team, things are not going to well for us at the moment....

Glad to see you used the correct name for the round ball game.

Do you sleep late or up early on days off?

Hey Callie,

as expected we have retained the ashes :) Which means, my dear, I'll see you in the new year to claim my prize

Something I'm very much looking forward to, see you soon honey :rose:

Hi Gem, How was your Christmas? Any big plans for New Years Eve?

Hey Gil

Christmas was lovely, despite reminding me how arrogant and annoying my brothers are. But you get that :)

No big new years plans. Dinner at a mates place then... who knows. Bigger plans for sunday 2nd - my nurse friend is working new years, so we are bbqing on the 2nd and having a relaxing arvo.

what about yourself? new years plans?

(I'd rather like someone tall dark and handsome to keep me company on new years eve... but alas santa didn't come through with that present)

On Dialysis during the day New Years Eve & a quite night as usual, BANDIT:heart: isn't a night owl & normally goes to bed at 10.30pm.

We do have 2 nights of speedway racing comming up on the 2nd & 3rd which gets to wear me down.

As for Santa forgetting your request it might be because you were not naughty enough. ;)

Speedway racing sounds fun :)

and it's more than okay to be an early bird. I think i may end up in bed early too.

not naughty enough?! god if any year was the year, this would be it for naughtiness :)

PS Gil have re arranged pic thread for you with new image hosting and and the last post has a present just for you :)

Koalabear... hope you are keeping out of trouble
and we dont need fruit flies! we have enough damn locusts as it is :)

i've just received another letter from the ex's father (this being because the ex is too 'scared' to deal with me, so he lets his elderly father talk for him).
this letter detailed 'the matter of X's belongings now concluded' - X is my littlest kidley bean, the one they discarded who now lives with me.

this letter is written like it was a car or a piece of furniture they got rid of.... not about a child, son and grandson :(

mind you, on the day they delivered the kidley's stuff here, they wouldn't go past the letterbox, and the comment made at the time, and within hearing of my son was 'you're welcome to him'.
what kind of mindset does that to a kid????

part of me wants to go mental at them, the other part of me thinks i should just take a big step back and protect my son from any further involvement with his father, step-mother and grandparents.
at least until the kidley is a year or two older and more able to deal with the hurt they've done to him.

Let it go ... deep breaths. Any reaction is what they thrive on so don't give them that delight.

You are doing a great job. :rose:

WOOOOHOOOO I'm out of here!:D

lamb will be on the table soon :)
we've had such bad weather here that my babies haven't grown as quickly as we'd have liked.
seems silly to cull them when they're not big enough - we'd like them to be another half as big again as they are now.

on the upside, all the rain has meant that i'm not facing water shortages yet.... but that too will come in time.

Thats better I thought you might have been going soft as you have aged. LOL

Do you rely on rain tanks?

EX is EX for a reason & that is why your mane is MUD.
I hate when it's the kids that suffer.

aged?
i still feel 18!
no - haven't gone soft :) and will post pics to prove it when the time comes to knock rib and loin over the noggin and peel them!

yes, i have rain tanks here. it's not critical though, if the worst comes i can always refill the tank from the dam and add another in-line filter for clean water.
