English, history and political science/civics. I could do that. Math and science, I'm not smarter than a 5th grader, and I wouldn't have to go on the TV show to prove it.

But English composition, spelling and grammar, I could do.

I would teach history not as individual dates and events, but as long running themes that evolved. Seminal events are the highlights of the different evolutions.

With political science and civics, I would repeatedly hammer home the idea that personal biases are the least important information you have in making political decisions.

I agree with most people's lists regarding the other "faculty," but interestingly enough, I think I'd throw in DCL's name in the hat as well.

And the music department I'd turn over to Sonny and Bert.
