Technical Help, please

Most versions of Word within the last 10 years have an export to .html option, however, you have to consider that it is not a straightforward conversion so don't expect the best quality. Look under the file tab if you have an older version or just search on html in the help facility.

In office there is a program to do this but for the life of me I can't remember which one. I haven't Done it in a while. Or needed to for that matter.

ETA: Front Page I think. Maybe.

You can do a save as html on the save as dialog screen. You can save it as a single page html or multi-page html file. Oh that for Office 2007

Well crap! The conversion works but I can't get the 'puter to save it.

Just tried it.

Click to the Clean HTML tab, and click your cursor anywhere in the text, type CTRL-A to select all of the text.
Then CTRL-C to copy the text to the clip board.
Creat a file new.txt on your desktop, double click on it to open it in notepad.
Click your cursor into the window for the new file and type CTRL-V to paste the
HTML from the clipboard.
Select save in Notepad to save the HTML.
Rename new.txt to new.html to make it an .html file.

Here's some inexpensive software you can buy and download that coverts word.doc to HTML in seconds and you can save the results in a MS/OS Documents file.

http://www.word-converter.net/

I use it and have had zero problems. :D
