Which GB members would you not want teaching your children?

If they were standing at the front of a classroom, which members would make you think twice about sending your kids to hear their "lessons"? (Assume they were a regular teacher, and not just a one-time example brought in to show what a loon looks like.)

Bigotry, racism, homophobia, and ignorance would be a few qualities I'd use to single out a few - but lack of integrity, dogged partisan politics, and unclear presentation would be criteria, too.

There are way too many here to list. The question is - Who do I want teaching my children?

is this your new class? after all you seem to have mastered the 'Bigotry, racism, homophobia, and ignorance'

I could see my kid (if I had one) coming home after a few of his classes:

"Daddy, why does the black man want my eternal soul? Oh yeah - and I need to bring an oxygen tank to show and tell so that my teacher can breathe..."

Any links / quotes of mine to back up any of what you claim, above?

Take your time, half wit.

i would go on an AJ benefits of home schooling rant if Jenn was an educator.

I'll give some less than obvious--for me--choices for who I'd be pleased as punch to have teach my children.

There are plenty others, but none of those would be considered the usual suspects for me.

Chilly would be good for shop, no doubt.

You would be a good candidate. You do have a desire to instruct. That's a plus.

You also have that Puritan streak which makes you think people can be changed by public ostracism. That never works. It never changes anyone's way of thinking.

The only real purpose is to intimidate the people who are watching from the side. This thread is a perfect example of the technique.

I would prefer top have my children taught by someone who had progressed past thug pedagogy.

I forgot about wok. Anything that fucker gets interested in he develops an encyclopaedic knowledge of.

I do that to annoy people who deserve to be annoyed, not to change their minds. You're a fool to think that I think it does any good. I do it for my own pleasure, and always have.

he strikes me as being very level-headed. he strikes me as having very informed and defined opinions on things, but he's not dogmatic as best as i can tell.

i don't mind my kids being exposed to ideas and philosophies that differ from mine, so long as they are a) challenged, and b) encouraged to be critical in their thinking.

I will tell you one thing, I've known him forever and one thing he is not is a racist. He seldom flies off the handle, he is calm and cool headed and it takes a ton to get him angry.
