Digression: there is a typo on the very title page of this forum. Instead of "New Thread" the button says "New Threrd" or something like this.

I am a bit sad to see that some comments under my poems have vanished. Thus Literotica archive is unreliable in one more way - this time it's vital (or deadly, to be precise). Are poems vanishing too? Perhaps not. I hope not.

(By inertia let me mention that often the poem ratings were, and I am sure still are, in an absolute contradiction to the comments).

Spelling on button is OK, but in a poor font. Take newthread.gif and magnify - the 'A' and 'R' are distinct.
I haven't lost any comments or poems on lit to the best of my knowledge. But I've been here for less than 2 years.

Hi Senna. "Thread" is ok on my version of the forum, too, but it is hard to see.

Also did you know the format for presenting comments changed a few years ago? I don't know why, but now it appears that only recent comments actually show and you have to click on all comments or archive (or whatever it's called) to pull up the old ones.

I hope you are faring well, my friend. :rose:

Senna is right about some comments disappearing. Sometimes, I think when a person leaves Lit and actually removes their material, TPTB eventually pull out all of the posts and comments that person left. (I have a few comments that are still there, but no longer have names on them due to something similar.)

I also suspect, but have never stopped to bother the owners, that when they "sweep" the votes they also sometimes remove comments.

Maybe I don't remember the comments that are missing so I don't realize they're gone. That's always a possibility lol. But I sometimes go back and look at certain poems like Chambers Street, which I wrote years ago, and all the comments (going back years) are there. But I've never removed a poem and then reposted it.

Hi Angeline,

it appears that only recent comments actually show and you have to click on all comments or archive (or whatever it's called) to pull up the old ones.
Under a poem, next to my nickname, I read: 0 comments, while I remember minimum two; perhaps there were as many as four.

I hope you are faring well, my friend. :rose:
As my friend used to say: reasonably well. I hope, Angeline, that you are still better :)

Thank you for responding. I would feel a bit awkward if it were just me.
