Erotic music

Hey Apryl,

I guess it's not possible to explain why the first clip (Puscifer Rev 22:20 Underworld) is erotic for you. I personally can't share that feeling.

But I do like the second clip! Paula Cole, Feelin' Love. After the first I expected the worst and was surprised and happy to be presented such a sensual and beautiful clip.

Thanks.

While the song is about a dream the singer had about electrocuting someone in the bathtub, something about the guitar and the downtempo intensity just makes me melt. Have had much sex to this song.

Tempted by Collide
Or anything by Collide, a little-known trip-hop duo. The synthetic beats, ethnic instruments, and highly-produced sound combine to create something darkly erotic. Always makes me wanna dance.

Not available in my country ... shit ...

Dance? :D

Haha, yes...dance.
That's a little embarrassing.

It isn't, if you ask me. And while it's not an explicit pic, it's an even more erotic vision to imagine a young woman dance to music you or I label as "erotic". It's the kind of music and reception of music I am interested in here in my thread, rather than the gross cliché: fuck music.

Invitation

What one feels is erotic or not is not a question to argue about. I will not be an evangelist for certain clothes or not, for certain actions, or whatever.

In my thread, I want to stress on the much more deeper arousal that a rhythm, a voice, a melody, or whatever part of a music (clip) can trigger in some people -- this is even more individual than the preferences for clothes or techniques.

Everybody is of course welcome to express what he feels when listening to a certain piece of music or watching a (music) clip, this is what this thread is meant for. But please don't argue about preferences, it's in vain anyway.

Lyrics for this (Kate Bush, Sensual World)

Mmh, yes,

Then I'd taken the kiss of seedcake back from his mouth
Going deep South, go down, mmh, yes,
Took six big wheels and rolled our bodies
Off of Howth Head and into the flesh, mmh, yes,

He said I was a flower of the mountain, yes,
But now I've powers o'er a woman's body, yes.

Stepping out of the page into the sensual world.
Stepping out...

To where the water and the earth caress
And the down of a peach says mmh, yes,
Do I look for those millionaires
Like a Machiavellian girl would
When I could wear a sunset? mmh, yes,

And how we'd wished to live in the sensual world
You don't need words--just one kiss, then another.

Stepping out of the page into the sensual world
Stepping out, off the page, into the sensual world.

And then our arrows of desire rewrite the speech, mmh, yes,
And then he whispered would I, mmh, yes,
Be safe, mmh, yes, from mountain flowers?
And at first with the charm around him, mmh, yes,
He loosened it so if it slipped between my breasts
He'd rescue it, mmh, yes,
And his spark took life in my hand and, mmh, yes,
I said, mmh, yes,
But not yet, mmh, yes,
Mmh, yes.

Don't lie- Take it in your eye. lol

Just for others locked out for copyright reasons on youtube: The artist is LL Cool J. And these are two very nice clips. Thank you.

Should be a good idea to post at least the artist's name for the other to have the possibility to search for it if especially youtube locks non-US watchers out. I will do that for my clips as well.

Full ack. It's mostly the slow and sometimes slowly increasing tempo and often with a wild "showdown" that is most important for an erotic effect ... in music as in sex.
