“How come god hogs up all the good followers and we get all the retards?”

Let us look at heaven and hell as merely planes of existence where angels and demons dwell, and if you know the right way you can travel between the planes. Earth or at least the one we know exists on its own plane, and it is not surprising that it is easily accessed by angels and demons alike since the dawn of time.

Saint Michael the Archangel the field commander of the Army of God and Belial is one of the four crown princes of Hell and a demon have been fighting each other since before God created man. When demons and angels fight on earth or another plane and die in combat these worthy warriors return to their respective planes.

If a demon dies fighting within the gates of heaven or a angel dies in the fiery pits of hell they find themselves taken prisoner and remain there until they’re traded, rescued or the end of time which ever comes first. Good souls go to heaven and join the army of god while evil and corrupt souls go to hell and fill the devil’s ranks, and both prepare for Armageddon. After thousands of years this has all lead to a continuous stalemate with neither side making much headway and the end game is nowhere in site.

So why not play a game? Not for the grand prize, no nobody get’s a shot at the title again, at least not for awhile. Why not a game for bragging rights and a small wager on the side, now the powers at be would never sanction betting souls, but the victor should enjoy some spoils besides knowing they’re superior.

So the rules of the game would be setup, so that a clear winner could be picked, but as always evil is prone to cheat. Satan offered a large empty stretch of hell which included three abandon cities stocked with supplies. Everything from swords and shields to Ak-47’s and M-16’s are allowed in combat, but technology would be limited. After all this game is about the skill of the commanders not their weapon.

While both sides have fighters that are chomping at the bit to participate it was decided, by both commanders for practical reasons that no warriors would be used from the main armies. Instead it would be decided they would use game pieces from war games, but what pieces would they use? It was debated back and forth, but it was finally decided that Army men would be used. Plastic soldiers most commonly molded from green or other colored dressed in modern military uniforms and armed with 20th Century weapons ( rifles, machine guns, submachine guns, sniper rifles, pistols, grenades, flame throwers, and bazookas).

Michael quickly claimed the noble green warriors and Belial claimed tan soldiers. With identical equipment and agreed spawning rates for reinforcements, ammunition, and equipment life was breathed into these brave warriors. The game length is set at 101 days at which time the winner will be declared by which side holds the most cities. The losing side will forfeit all of its soldiers to the other side for service in their army.

You begin as part of 40 soldier unit with knowledge of your experiences prior (all those battles were real to you after all) and your mission, but Michael is merely a general to you, and you just have another mission. You’ve probably go an action movie soldier’s mentality. You’ve killed communists, Nazis, Japanese and all kinds of nasty stuff.

You’ll collect weapons and equipment along the way, but you start off with everything you’d normally carry and some extras. The landscape will be a mix of passed battlefields where you will find the enemy and even a few allies. Lost souls might offer you guidance, and rice patties will give way to bombed out villages. Expert to do things like carry around a field phone, an Uzi, and a javelin.

Of coarse the devils minions will cheat, so you will be running into superior numbers and enemies like skeletons and minor demons. There will be help though.

Post you basic stats and questions and we’ll get ready to go to war….

Green Sniper Charlie 3

Name: 3
Group: Charlie
Equipment: SR-25, Browning Hi-Power, one smoke grenade and two hand grenades, field glasses.

3 served in the last days of WWII, where he raked in 12 kills when they advanced on Berlin. The only thing 3 could remember was a Tiger II tank and an explosion and then he woke up on another battlefield, though everything seemed strange. He was in Germany no more, he was on a rocky ground along with soldiers that he did not know, of course he tried to find higher ground to find out the lay of the land...when something landed next to him with a hissing sound, he looked and was shocked to find something that looked like a dynamite stick, just many times bigger. 3 woke up looking out on a room and realized that the other soldiers was a mixture of Germans, Americans and British and so began the life of 3 the plastic soldier. 3 Served as the last hope or cannon fodder, all this scenarios made 3 a tough customer, he learned how to read a fight, how to spot ambushes and how to kill aliens...of course courtesy of the 8 year old imagination.

Welcome aboard, I like Death Knight also.

Name: 3

Why the name 3?

Group: Charlie

Okay a sniper rifle a 9mm pistol and some grenades...sure pretty typical. Want a spotter?

Need more or would that work? Also would it be possible for our characters to carry more than what they come equipped with?[/QUOTE]

Well maybe a little background, and what else would you like to carry? Willing to give you gear and vehicles.

3 because all my army men had numbers on their bases, I thought it's universal

I don't need a spotter and I would like to carry some sort of automatic weapon like the T-91 Assault rifle or even the M4A1/M203 would work as well. Vehicles would be found all over the cities not true?

I'll edit the background into my original post if that is OK

Is this going to be like your Village Warriors thread from long ago, at least in terms of how it's played, Jagged?

lol....never kept track like that, but knew some people who kept track of their squad leader characters.

I think an M16 with a grenade launcher isn't to out of line, and after all these guys are tough I'm sure he can handle the extra weight.

I look forward to reading it than when you get a chance.

This will be a little more free form letting people write more of what they want, and me presenting options and results. You can be a leader or a lone riflemen. What is your idea, we'll develop it together. I'm thinking this is kind of DOOM meets Squad Leader.

Neither of which I'm familiar with.

My idea (seeing as how the role of sniper has been taken already *glares at DK*), is for a pyro nut, aka an explosives expert. The guy loves making things go boom, and the bigger the boom, the happier he is.

Ah okay well you're not limited from becoming a sniper also, but please put forth your explosive expert that is always a useful person to have.

Name: Sargeant John Doe "Informer"
Group: Charlie
Equipment: Springfield Bolt Action, M1911 pistol, Katana, two inceniary grenades, communications set, field goggles.
Bio: John Doe, as he was so named by his previous commander, a young boy named Timmy, is a special operations trooper who enjoys nothing more than taking off heads. His first dozen or so wars were simply against the Tan Army. The Green always won. The Green Army was an unstoppable force. That was until an unforseen event occured. There were attacked by monsters. Large, unthinkable monsters similar to something that his fellow soldiers called a "Godzilla", and "Spiders". All he knew was that he need to shoot them. Multiple times. In the head. Or, in "Gozilla's" case, drop a couple grenades down his throat. He earned his call sign, Informer, due to his covert ops and scouting, supplying the main army with intel on the enemy.

But now he has arrived here. Wherever "here" is. His new commander is called Michael, and says that he must work with his forty man troop to win the war for him. Cold as always, will most likely stay to himself and avoid most other troopers. It was unfortunate, and ironic, that he carried the com set.

Name: Boomer
Group: Charlie
Equipment: AA-12 automatic shotgun with 20-round drum clips, Colt-.45 handgun, 3 Claymore anti-personnel mines, 1 anti-armor mine, 1 pound of C4 with 3 detonators, and 2 frag grenades

Boomer is a bit of a nut when it comes to explosives, so much so that he could talk your ear off for hours about the properties of C4 and why it is the greatest explosive to have ever been created by man. Whether you want to surgically remove a door from its frame with explosives or blow up the building while leaving the door intact, Boomer is the man to see.

Just for reference, if you've seen the movie The Expendables with Sylvester Stalone, during the big battle scene towards the end, the big black guy is using an AA-12 shotgun on full auto, using both standard shotgun rounds to clear the basement and mini-grenades to take out the guard towers.

Background would be cool, after all you had lives that were real to you. Fighting Nazis, terrorists, communists, and whatever else a young war gamer might throw at you.

Impressive choices of weapons...the communication sets are the old backpack ones so they ain't light (never made smaller ones for toy soldiers).

So far so good. Maybe a few other tough souls to round out our group and they rest will be NPC's leaving room for others to join.

Any other questions? I like what I'm reading so far.

I don't see why not. And bio uploaded to my earlier post. Can't wait to get this started.

I'm a fan of splinter cell

Of coarse...meant to note that earlier....of coarse you're welcome.

You may see me pop up now and again then.

I'll be your guardian angel.

I can hold my own.

I can wield a sword with medical dexterity.

I have sleight of hand. Am soft of tread. And fleet of foot.

The first person to say I can cook will have his cock severed (you have been warned!)

I'm here to fight not fuck.

Nice to see a member of the opposite gender have some interest in an RP of this sort. That is something that doesn't happen all that often.

Welcome, Ms. Liz, to the Literotica Online Roleplaying Forum.

By the way, do you happen to have a character concept in mind for this little story?

Thank you Jedi, I was going to ask the same thing. I'd at least like a name and basic stats like the rest of the players.

This is good I should start setting up a base camp..

Oh! Oh! Oh! Don't forget the explody stuff! And stuff to use it on! :D

Name: joules (as in high energy, high maintenance, julia)
Group: I started as a Medic and ended up as a rear-gunner charlie. (necessity is the mother of invention) I now prefer solo, but needs must.
Equipment: what ever is near to hand. I carry a wakizashi, and a stiletto. I have a side arm. And if called upon I can be very accurate with most larger caliber rifles. (but don't rely on my stamina, I know my limitations.)

Okay that works....if you want to provide background that it up to you. So a sniper rifle and a 9mm and some nasty knives. Very cool. I will have to post some stuff about a base later...after I brave Christmas shopping.

was that begrudging praise there? :)D)
and in the interests of accuracy, my side arm is a SIG Sauer P228. I would rather not carry the sniper rifle as I think I may be treading on someone else's toes there? I'm just saying that if this discends into a firefight pissing contest I'll not wet my knickers; I'll just be accurate.

happy shopping

So, no sniper rifle? How about an M16 or a SAW (or their equivalents)? So far we don't have any standard riflemen(women) or heavy gunners. We have 2 snipers and a bomb freak with a full-auto capable shotgun.

And in case you couldn't tell already, a couple of us are from the U.S., hence the weapon choices.

Ok I'll run around with an M16 if required. I'm probs better at covert surveillance and reconnaissance though.
