Eso tampoco es exactamente cierto. Si has nacido en Estados Unidos, difícilmente puedes ser inmigrante, se mire desde el punto de vista que se mire. El tema está en que la diferencia entre un inmigrante y alguien que no lo es es sólo de una generación. Hablar de "verdaderos americanos" como de una especie de criatura mística de la antigüedad es una estupidez cuando estamos hablando de una diferencia de veinte o treinta años entre "verdaderos americanos" y... ¿y qué? ¿"Falsos americanos"?
