I ordered my turkey from a fancy smancy grocery store, so I hope to heaven it is decent.

But who cares, picked the husband up last night and it's nice having him around for a few days!

I specified what is being made from scratch because he strongly suggested since this is my first Thanksgiving, I limit myself to a handful of homemade dishes. I am cooking the turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce with no cans, mixes, etc. Next year I'm doing the entire meal from scratch if he'll let me.

Happy day to all and much serenity for those who were yanked/bribed/guilted into the family soap opera... I mean dinner.

As for the menu...
Steak
Potatoes
Asparagus w/cheese
Broccoli w/cheese
Nacho tray
Veggie tray
Little sammiches
Cracker/sausage/cheese
Three cream pies
Cherry cheese cake

(I got overruled on having taco salad or sticky rice and soup for dinner )
