Firs thing to decide is what do you like to write about normally. You say you've written a bunch of erotic already, so do you have a general pattern? What do you like to write about?

In general I like to write about real-life settings, usually historical, sometimes modern. I tend to have really well-developed characters too.

If you have well developed characters then I would suggest that you come up with some historical setting that appeals to you and let your characters lose in that setting and see what they want to do. Hopefully they will want to get together, so you need to come up with something that is keeping them a part and find a way that they can beat that and end up in each other's arms.

Awww that sounds sweet... I could TRY to do that, but I have a really hard time coming up with story plot ideas..

In another forum people discuss plots and story ideas all the time. I would suggest checking that out as there are already a lot of ideas set up there waiting for a writer!
