Yeah I think that is the same as I have as well. You plug the sim into it, and it acts as a wireless router, so you can pick up internet with your phone, or a lappy.

You can run it off batteries as well.

That's the one :)

I've not been out, but the forecast is RAIN

You don't want to believe the forecast! ;)

And MiFi is the future, means you can get a cheap iPad (the wifi only version) and use the wifi to connect to the net, genius!!!

The BBC is never wrong :D

Hey??

Sorry to hear about the bad weather out there. I hear alot about that from people.
My Aunt and Uncle live in Chicago and they say its supposed to snow out there.
My Great Aunt lives near Many Feathers and she said it snowed there already.

We have cold mornings out here, but it warms up a bit later in the day.

Ah, of course, how silly of me!

MiFi is a small 3G dongle that is also a wifi router (kind of like personal wifi hotspot) that runs on batteries. You fire it up, and then your iPad or iPod touch or whatever finds the WiFi and connects and the dongle connects to the outside world using 3G.
