Even with early returns, Kentucky and Indiana now have Republican Senators. Rand Paul the Libertarian candidate has been projected to win that race.

edited to add, South Carolina is called for the Republicans...

So ye did! Congrats...and hello Senator Rubio!

Looks like the voters will give the Repubs the House but not the Senate, perhaps a 'check & balance' until 2012?

With Bonher as Speaker, the big O will have to get serious about politics.

If Harry Reid loses in Nevada to Sharon Angle...which is doubtful...but if he did, Obama would face two empty chambers...heh...

Fox News just predicted a 60 seat gain by Republicans...they needed 39 to take control of the House.

Game on!

edited to add: CNN just predicted a 50 seat gain by the Repubs...now I am curious as to the final number...?

ABC's saying 60 for the Repub's as well.

The Senate's still a squeaker, but it'll be more in balance either way.

I predict outright gridlock in both houses until 2012. ;)

It's really too soon to say, because the polls are still open in some places, but it does look as if it will be a Rep. majority in the House, although probably not in the Senate. Controlling either house of Congress will be enough to prevent The Big O from ramming any more unwanted programs through.

What do you want to bet: On the first regular day of business in Jan., somebody in the House, possibly a freshman, will introduce a bill to repeal Obamacare. It will be something of a grandstand move, because it would probably not even pass in the Senate, and Obama would repeal it, but somebody will do it anyhow. :D

NC state Senate just went red for the 1st time in over 100 years. The House did too!

The above is the new career of Nancy Pelosi starting January 3rd...a fitting profession for a San Fran Liberal!

Oh, she'll still be in Congress, probably as the minority leader or similar position. The Reps. probably haven't even run a candidate against her, and the only opposition would be people such as Sister Boom-Boom. :)

The big "O" is supposed to stand for Orgasm. He's not doing it for me.

The Great Uniter, the Anointed one, is already bawling about how his agenda is in grave danger. Looks like when the American people speak, he STILL can't come up with a way to govern along with the will of the people.

It's all good tho, I say we get the house to start up some investigations on all the fraudulent dealings.. get the Justice Department to answer for themselves.

I have no doubt that if we keep digging we'll find grounds for impeachment.

I doubt if anybody will find grounds for impeachment of The Big O, and I don't think it would be a good idea to even try very hard. However, there might be grounds for impeachment of some of his appointments, such as Holder and maybe some others.

In my 'work in progress' (WIP), the President is impeached for a Constitutional failure to protect the people when Iran nukes a Carrier Battle Group after continuous intelligence agency warnings....

Aside from his obscene transformation of America to democratic socialism, his foreign policy statements and actions have weakened the Nation to a dangerous point.

Events this November 2nd, 2010, are huge.

Stay tuned.

San Fran Nan is crying in her beer too:

She should have known that if you keep pushing the people ways they don't want to go, there are consequences.

Interesting link, curious interpretations...and then the commentary...Obama 'speaks' at 1pm Eastern today...

we shall see?
