Have any of you guys used craig's list to locate and meet someone? I'm sure this has been asked a zillion times. Craig's list seems like a good start point, but I'm a little reluctant and nervous to contact someone on there. I've had a couple of bi experiences before, but it has been a long time ago. That experience just "kind of happened". I wold much prefer that to occur again, but I need to meet someone or a couple, thus the craig's list question. Your thoughts are much appreciated!

i would worry about who is on the other end with CL, being from the boston / providence area i am nervous about it after the lunatic killed a girl and maimed another he found on CL, who knows what you're going to get, diseases, lunatic, cops. etc....anonymous sex is not what it was when many of us were younger

You might try squirt.org. It is a cruising sight. I tried it out on a lark. Looks good. Like swinger sites, there is a pay element to it, which I haven't invested in, because I didn't plan on actually acting on it. Just wanted to see what the local scene was surounding adult book stores. There are other cruising locations and there are message boards, private messaging, and a chat room available. Milage will depend on your location.

I know a lot of people have claimed sucess with CL and other sites, but is it worth the risk?? You have no real idea of what you are getting into until it is too late. May tur out to be great, but probably turn out real bad.

You live in Kansas. Why not try a gay bar. Today, most are clean and trustworthy. At least you get to see what you are getting into first. And - talk. You still are not 100% safe, but it is one whole hell of a lot better than taking a risk on a blind ad, where the advertiser is a front for a gay bashing group.

Hope, if this doesn't help, you at least understand the risks of answering blind ads.

Those guys that hookup on Craigslist have probably been around the Craigslist block many times, meaning who knows how many partners they had meaning who knows how many diseases they have! Also I'd worry about meeting a Jeffrey Dhamer type man on Craigslist!

Squirt is good. gives you the option of getting informed about cruising areas or setting up private meets.

As other have said I have had some success with Squirt.

Whenever I do these online hook ups I always meet for coffee in a public place first. You get to know the person and decide if you want to take it further or not. If they refuse to meet like that they are not worth your time.
