Just curious...Of those who cut in sexual play, how many self cut while in the act? No, not the fad vampire scene. Just simple give and take.

Realize that this is a question coming from someone who just a few years ago thought that cutting was the most scary and emotionally unhealthy act.

I don't cut. I bruise and scar far too easily for that. Can't say the idea of it isn't intriguing though.

needles, not so much with the cutting, but it's a preferred form of causing bleeding while riding a dick or enhancing the experience for myself. My other participants are not interested in poking me. I don't really self-pierce under other circumstances either.

I read 'back and forth' cutting to mean a sawing effect.

I'd probably say don't do that.. although a little jaggedness to the cut actually helps the healing process you don't want to make a mess of someone.

Haven't done it while *in* the act.. it takes a steady hand and some concentration.. but beforehand, and leaving needles in place while fucking, yes.

I know there are some in the community who enjoy the receive. While playing I found myself in an unusual situation. It was beyond stimulating.

I actually had to look up cuttting and found myself trying to distance myself from teenage angst. I guess I come from the "I won't give won't I can'take" camp.

After the fact, I needed answers to my actions.

I have had a sub that was highly into this...though I agree it is not a heathly choice to do it from anger, it is highly erotic. Most times I have seen this done it was in the back and forth methood. And the cuts shouldn't be to deep or long.

Forgive my ignorence, but surely vampire fetishism would be biting to draw blood and then drinking, not cutting for the pleasure?

Biting to draw blood in quantity for drinking is harder than you think! A lot of people who are into that kind of thing use knives for it.

Ok, makes sense i suppose, ive bitten mima fairly hard before and not got close to making her bleed, so if i did want to drink her blood knifes would definatly be the way forward, thanks for explaining Also re-reading your post i realised i mis-read it the first time, didnt realise you were on about it being hard to explain to people that you wernt into it all.

I don't drink blood, nor have an interest. We didn't play in the blood. More it was a bonding act of what we could give each other. I don't want to judge how others have cut. It wasn't that long ago that this kind of play scared me.

I was asking wondering if others had cut in a sexually satisfying way. What your reasoning was, and I should have added, what safety precautions should be made.

I havn't ever cut in a sexual way although I do self-harm occasionaly, i know its not quite the same but safty wise it shouldnt be too different. I always use razor blades as they are very sharp and give clean cuts that heal up nicely and fairly quickly and dont scar too bad aslong as you dont cut too deep, and just make sure you have some bandage type stuff on hand for afterwards because they can bleed a fair bit.

I found an x-acto knife works very well. Easy to control depth and length of the cut. I've never used one in a sex act. Cutting is too personal to me.

Don't cut yourself with one of those.

They tend to have a fine film of oil and other grot on them, you don't want it getting into a cut.

Scalpels that are sterile in the pack, that are then resterilised, for the win.
